The top reviews of Motel 6 San Francisco Ca Great Highway are: The location is great, overlooking the beach and a one block walk away. Really convenient for the tram into the city center and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance and more a short drive or tram ride away. The photo is a little flattering! The hotel itself is quite tired and there are trailers parked all the way down the street but the residents were not any trouble. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Thank especially to Rob for all his help! The rooms were spacious but the wifi in our suite was not great. It worked a bit in one of the rooms but not at all in the other, which was a big deal for our kids. There were no mugs, plates or cutlery in the kitchenette but that seems to be normal these days. Also the refrigerator didn't seem to work and kept freezing our food but we only reported this on the last day. The sound proofing between the rooms was non existent but the hotel staff were really helpful in asking other guests to quieten down if noisy late at night. The coffee in the office is very good :-).
