“Good Location but Parking and Bar are Expensive”

We stayed here for 4 nights over Christmas. I booked two rooms and they gave us adjoining rooms without me having to request them which worked out great. My brother and I were able to easily walk to a couple places that we wanted to go to in Fisherman’s Wharf. Due to my parents’ limited mobility, we did drive most of the time we needed to go somewhere and the valet always brought our car out within minutes of me calling for it. Parking is expensive though and it is valet only. The hotel is in the shape of a hollowed out triangle on the map and one of the two rooms was oddly shaped with uneven floors because of that. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet two of the four nights. It was a good breakfast but expensive ($33/person plus tax and SF fee) if you do not have a Bonvoy status that gives you a coupon for free breakfast. They do offer everyone a $30 per night credit that can be used at the bar or at breakfast. The restaurant at night is also expensive and the food is just okay.

“Pillows galore”

I stayed in a King bed room. The bed was comfortable and the pillows provided were the best part of the stay, almost half body length and four were provided to wrap your body in. I stayed in a King bed room. The bed was comfortable and the pillows provided were the best part of the stay, almost half body length and four were provided to wrap your body in. There was no master switch for lights and it became tedious to turn each on and off. Water pressure was decent with the handle but the rainfall shower head was lacking. Room was fairly large and well equipped. Gym was well equipped. The check in was rather robotic with the staff. Overall, I’d rate it somewhere between a 3-4.

Needed to fly to SF for a medical appointment so it didn’t really matter where I stayed. Rates were high everywhere so I opted to stay here so I could get my clam chowder fix! Needed to fly to SF for a medical appointment so it didn’t really matter where I stayed. Rates were high everywhere so I opted to stay here so I could get my clam chowder fix! I was only here one night, pretty much just 12 hours since I arrived after 8pm. Lobby area was bustling with the bar/restaurant right next to the front desk area. I did not partake in any of the amenities due to time constraints. Room was clean and standard for Marriott. AC was quite loud but didn’t keep me awake, Appreciated the deep tub for a nice soak before bed. Would stay again, if the price was right.
