I stayed here for 4-nights for a business conference that held here. TL;DR I enjoy the location, wonderful staffs, but the room needs an improvement. My detailed reviews below: 1) Location: The location is perfectly centralized. Plenty of dining place, a number of Starbucks if you need your caffeine fix, Mel’s Drive-In also just a few minutes walk. Montgomery Bart station also only 10-mins walk for direct access to the airport. Overall, I’m satisfied with the location. 2) Lobby/Reception: The lobby has decent size, pretty generic for a business hotel and honestly it lacks of a character. Thankfully the reception staffs are wonderful, including the gentlemen at the concierge. They’re genuinely nice and helpful. Check-in process was fast and efficient. I was a bit unsatisfied with the room that they gave me in the first place, some cleanliness as well privacy issue (the window is directly facing to an office building across), however, they managed to amend this and relocate me to another room which I appreciate. 3) Room: I think this is the weakest point here. The deluxe room is big, but the interior is just plain boring and has no character at all. Also the bed is too soft, not firm enough to support my back so I always end up sinking each time I woke up in the morning. The fabric sofa in the corner definitely needs a clean up. The room has Keurig coffee machine which is good. Bathroom has decent lighting. I do like the bathroom amenities offered which smells good. Sadly the shower pressure could’ve been better. 4) Other aspects: I didn’t try all the facilities, because mostly I sit in the meeting rooms in the hotel which I found quite decent. Wi-Fi also has decent speed regardless there were many people accessing them. The main selling point for this hotel is the service, all staffs here are super friendly and helpful. My daily housekeeping request also honored and I always found my room is already refreshed each time I coming back. Overall, it’s a good business hotel. Location and service are their main selling point. However, I still think the management can improve the room condition as it’s too generic and boring. I also wish the bed can be more firm. Anyway, you can’t go wrong with this hotel.

The best part of this hotel is Bill the concierge! That man is awesome! I had 2 rooms, both had barn doors on the bathroom. I HATE barn door bathrooms. A little privacy would be nice. Bed linens were noisy, almost stiff. Bath towels were fine. Location was safe, we walked around and over ... more

The best part of this hotel is Bill the concierge! That man is awesome! I had 2 rooms, both had barn doors on the bathroom. I HATE barn door bathrooms. A little privacy would be nice. Bed linens were noisy, almost stiff. Bath towels were fine. Location was safe, we walked around and over to market st. It was expensive to park but my car didn’t get broken into (seems to be a real problem in San Fran). Was just ok, would probably stay at a different hotel looking for a more premium experience next time.
