“Weekend stay in SD”
The Omni is great. I lived in downtown San Diego for 20 years and I've stayed at all of the hotels in this area. I have to say it's one of my favorites now. The location is perfect. The front desk was extremely helpful. I highly recommend the Omni. Thanks for a perfect trip.

“Friendly Staff”
Staff was very freindly! Hotel is Close to Attractions Views from room was beautiful. Very clean nice fitness center and pool area. Walking distance to many nice shops & restaurants. Next to petco park & convention center. At base of gaslamp district.

“Housekeeping Dropped the Ball”
Hotel was perfect with its location in the city, but housekeeping did not clean the room or make the bed and left with dirty towels 1 day which was disappointing being a long time Select Guest Member. Will return though to see the Padres later.

The good: Clean room. They will stock water bottles in the room everyday Very good location - Gas lamp area. Right next to Petco park, next to the tram, plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Pretty friendly staff. The Bad: The bathroom. If you’re taller and point the shower head up, you’ll probably get water all over the floor. There is no fan in bathroom as well. The food. The way the food is prepared is not the issue. I am fully confident the kitchen is completely competent to cook a good meal. However, the quality of the ingredients were poor. Ordered a steak, and the quality of the meat itself was probably the worst I have ever received from a restaurant. Outback had better quality. The Neutral: It would be nice if there were vending machines. The key cards are kind of tricky to use, they’re not that sensitive so you have to move it all over the sensor for it to register. I did not realize there was a fridge in the room. It’s in the cabinet under the tv. Overall: I would comeback. For what I paid I feel like it was worth it. I say it’s a good hotel mostly because of its location, otherwise id say it’s average.
