Caught the happy hour at the tail end, yet both Toto and Isabel went out of their way to show us the yummy spread before they packed for the evening! My husband and I really appreciated their hospitality and professionalism making sure we enjoyed the sumptuous offerings! My husband had the beer! I enjoyed the spinach salad with nuts and dried fruits! What a treat! I travel a lot for work and stay in Hilton brand hotels and this one was one of the best! “Loving Our Stay”

The Hotel rooms are nice size and very Cozy. The walk out to the courtyard is amazing beautiful. We enjoy the BBQ Grill everyday, the warm Fire 🔥 seating area. The pool and jacuzzi awesome. Anthony, Emily and Mikayla have been supper Helpful from the beginning of arrival check-in . Can’t forget the maintenance help. He has been Super Helpful and quick service when needed. Very friendly staffing here.. Most importantly if your a Cat 🐈 owner this is the one for you, search no longer. They in fact accept cats. I called sooooo many Hotels and they only accepted dogs!! Then I found this Homewood Suites. I would highly recommend this hotel for Family stay.

“Good & Bad”

The room was nice clean, except for the loud a/c sound when ON. The breakfast was good and wholesome. The room was nice clean, except for the loud a/c sound when ON. The breakfast was good and wholesome. The 3 women TATA, AMY & Julie Obana ( Supervisor ) were very accommodating and friendly to us and other residents . Kudos to those 3 lady employees. However, there was a male employee at the front desk who was rude and not very accommodating when asked if there was another restroom within the premises. He looked at me like I was going to rob him and answered NO. I found the other bathroom in the same floor where he was working as a receptionist. An employee like him is ruining your business .

The staff were very nice. Kenesha checked us in and was awesome! The hotel had some nice amenities, but the reason for lack of a better rating is that our room was not very functional. The space did not work well for a family of four. The way the room was divided made the space very small and cramped. The bedroom area had two double beds- not queen sized. We are not large people, although my husband and son are on the taller side. We ended up having my son sleep on the pull out, my daughter and I slept on one bed and my husband slept on the remaining bed. The pull out took up the entire living space so we were constantly bumping into each other. The bathroom had a glass insert so whenever anyone had to use the restroom in the middle of the night the entire room was lit up with light. Also, the sink was inside the bathroom so no one could brush teeth or put on make up while someone was showering. Did I mention there was no bedroom door? This meant everyone had to take turns changing in the bathroom if we wanted privacy. It felt like our entire stay was waiting for a turn at the bathroom. Our window in the living area didn't have curtains. If we wanted natural light we had zero privacy when we pulled up the shade. People were always walking by. If we shut the shade we had no light. Why no sheer curtains?? This room would maybe work for a couple or for a single person, but not a family. Lastly, we had to pay for parking, but the lot is shared by other businesses that don't require a permit. I felt like this was just a way to make extra money, not for security. No one is monitoring the parking that we could tell and if they are they wouldn't know what business you are visiting anyhow. Hyatt House Sorrento Mesa has a much better suite for a similar price point. Pros of Homewood Suite- the gym is nice and well equipped, staff is nice and great location. We didn't try the breakfast. I went one morning just for coffee and it was so busy I opted for the coffee in the room.
