Writing this at the airport before we even leave San Diego. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Let me start with our shuttle driver who picked us up at the airport on time. Sandy superb driver lots of information gave us complementary waters. Chatted with us. Made us feel welcome in San Diego. Don’t believe she is a hotel employee, but just so you know the shuttle service is free and was very clean and prompt. Check in was super easy. They held their bags for us as a room wasn’t ready yet, but it was ready within the half an hour, even though we were three hours early. Front desk, Josh and Max. Two stellar employees. Great communication. Great hospitality skills. When we returned to actually check into our room, there was a beautiful bag of goodies and champagne as we were there for our anniversary trip. Super excited about that and it was a nice treat. The room was newly renovated in, absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. Had a beautiful Bayview on the third floor. There were renovations going on on the first floor. But it didn’t interrupt us at all. Kitchen was beautifully equipped with everything we needed in addition to the bathroom and all the linens. Hallways were beautifully vacuumed and cleaned. Breakfast in the morning was much more than I typically expect from Hilton, with breakfast tacos available each morning. With a variety of the usual pastries, meats, eggs, etc. Everything was very clean and well capped. In addition to being well stocked. We happen to be there mid week. There was is a managers reception on Wednesday nights. From 5 to 7, with complementary food and alcohol. Extremely beautiful spread. Staff and service excellent. The grounds were wonderful with lots of options to do outside. Please note the outdoor area is a common area used by the public as well. The pool was nice, which was just for the hotel guests. There was also some terraces to sit outside attached the hotel, Station itself is wonderful. Lots of green areas places to eat. I was the only negative to the area and not the hotel itself, is there is a decent amount of homelessness. If we ever return to the area, we would definitely book this hotel again. Been traveling for many years and worked in the hospitality industry, I can say this hotel is better than most!

“Great location and spacious rooms for families”

We had an absolutely lovely week-long stay at the Homewood Suites Liberty Station. It was a beautiful location with easy commutes to Sea World, downtown San Diego, Coronado Island beach and the Zoo. We did get to stay in a newly renovated suite, so the finishes were beautiful and the room spacious. We were traveling as a family of 5 with 2 teenagers, and we had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area with a pull out sofa and a pretty complete kitchen (stovetop but no oven). There was a full refrigerator, so we were able to buy groceries to save us from eating out some meals. It was very close to Ralph's and Trader Joes. The complimentary breakfast was good! Because of the renovations, they hosted morning breakfast in a conference room, so there were no make your own waffles as with other Hilton breakfasts. The kids were a little disappointed about that, but other than that, it was a complete hot breakfast buffet. A few mornings they had delicious toaster waffles, which made the kids happy. The outdoor breakfast seating was wonderful - the hotel is located on a walkway on a basin, so the water views were relaxing. There was bocce, corn hole and even paddle boards and kayaks to rent through a 3rd party (not the hotel), however I'm sorry to say we never really had a chance to enjoy those activities. We wanted to, just ran out of time. The rooms were very clean. There are laundry facilities and detergent for sale at the front desk. I had to do laundry one night, which was very convenient. We were very comfortable for the week and really enjoyed our stay.

“Nice stay location is great”

We had renovated room on 4th floor in South building . Nice water view suite. Room was clean. We did have a few ants in kitchen area probably due to construction. Construction had the elevator a bit dirty. The offerings for breakfast were pretty good each day. Staff friendly. Loved view in sitting area outside. We enjoyed sitting out there in evenings. Pool area nice. Location is close to a lot. Once construction is complete should be a 5 star stay for all.
