This property is not only terrific, the staff went way out of its way to help when I mistakenly left my wallet in my room when I checked out. With one phone call, the hotel's security team -- and particularly David Rodriguez -- went right to work. They found my wallet (and two other things I mistakenly left in the room), kept in constant contact with me and sent the package back to me in 1 business day. I couldn't have been happier with all of the hotel staff, but particularly the Security team. Thanks to you all.

“Great location near the riverwalk, self-parking garage across the street”

Overall this is a nice property in a great location near the river walk. You can access the river walk directly by going down the stairs near the entrance of the restaurant. Overall this is a nice property in a great location near the river walk. You can access the river walk directly by going down the stairs near the entrance of the restaurant. We had SNAs that were confirmed for 2 nights during Christmas and were upgraded to a nice suite with two balconies overlooking the small pool area. As platinum + we received breakfast vouchers for $21 per person at the restaurant, which pretty much covered any one item on the menu, plus coffee or juice. While valet parking is only available at this hotel, there is a self-parking option called iParkit right across the street at a garage that allows ins and outs! I believe you have to book on their website (check on Google maps) but it was $25/night vs the $35/night that’s posted on the garage when you enter. You don’t even need to book in advance- you just select the day and time you’ll arrive / depart and you’ll get a code generated to you email. This allows you to come and go as you need. Do not park in the uncovered lot right next to this garage as it’s full of birds.

“First time in a Westin and Satisfied Overall”

I was overall impressed with the Riverwalk Westin. It is conveniently located and has an elegant lobby. Fruited water always available during the day in the lobby. There are inside verandas on the main level for relaxing and watching the Riverwalk boats and you can exit to the Riverwalk from the basement where there is a great bar and a restaurant. The bartender always pleasantly delivered whether it was a drink or even a decafe cappucino. The room was spacious with comfortable beds albeit a bit too dark even with all the lamps turned on. The only complaint was plumbing. There was a leaky bathtub faucet and while we complained immediately, nobody ever attended to it in the 4 nights of our stay. Also, the restroom near our lobby breakfast room was out-of-order and other guests told us it had been that way for weeks. Not acceptable near breakfast room. Closest one was down an elevator in the basement. Nevertheless, I will recommend any friends traveling to S.A. stay at this property.

“Great and easy”

Great location and easy exit to the riverwalk. Normal Westin accommodations with a heated pool which was great for the kids. Would recommend for families or couples that don’t want to drive around and want to be centrally located in the city.
