St. Louis Union Station Hotel

“Highly recommended, beautiful and convenient”

Our family of 4 truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! We had a room with 2 queen beds. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Our family of 4 truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! We had a room with 2 queen beds. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The Station Grill for breakfast was great as well. Valet parking was the best part! It really is best for the security of our vehicle, walking distances and traffic concerns. We basically walked a short distance from.our room to the pool, and into everything available to enjoy, such as the aquarium, ferris wheel, and restaurants. Highly recommended!

“Neat History, but not worth it - old and smelly and a toilet that didn't flush right.”

My husband and I decided to do a little staycation and stay at Union Station. I rated this a 4 because of the experience, but the room was a 3. The toilet wouldn't flush right, gross. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, but old and stale, so what, after they stopped allowing smoking, they never changed the old wall paper and curtains to remove the smell? The room looked nice, but the smell was just so much. It didn't smell or feel fresh. The fire alarm went off twice and both times before the alarm went off, a message came across saying it was a false alarm, then the alarm came on. So then when this happened the second time, and the message said we had to leave the building, I tried calling the front desk and no one answered. Then I went out to see if others were leaving and another couple said no one was at the front desk and no one seemed to be rushing out. So weird and a bit scary. I was really upset that no one was clear on what was going on and no one was at the front desk. If it's from an old system, they need to fix it. My husband and I enjoyed the attractions at Union Station, and the light show in the great hall, so that's why I give this a 4. But I wouldn't stay here again, totally not worth how much we paid.

Overrated but good location The hotel could use a ton of refreshing. Room is nothing fancy, tiles in the bathroom weren't fully grouted so assuming it's full of mold behind this. Overrated but good location The hotel could use a ton of refreshing. Room is nothing fancy, tiles in the bathroom weren't fully grouted so assuming it's full of mold behind this. The buildings are very confusing and our digital key only worked on the room, none of the other features like opening doors in the different buildings, or to the pool. Location was great - we did the aquarium, mirror maze, mini golf, the Wheel, package which was really expensive. It was all a bit overrated for the price but the kids had a great time, so overall worth it. Union station is fun, a cool light show on the coy pond, lots of food options. We did online checkin and checkout, and tried to call the Valet for our car but no one answered. Went to the lobby where 20 people were standing around waiting for the valets to bring cars. There was an employee at the stand, not sure if she just ignored the phone or if the system is broken. I would only recommend for location only and not for the hotel room itself.
