“Mediocre”

I have been staying at this hotels many many times. Sadly, the ongoing changes of management is visible throughout the hotel.

I had a nice time visiting the area, but unfortunately, the hotel experience left a lot to be desired. I arrived around 10 PM and was told the restaurant was about to close. I had a nice time visiting the area, but unfortunately, the hotel experience left a lot to be desired. I arrived around 10 PM and was told the restaurant was about to close. By the time I went back downstairs, all the food options were closed. The bartender was pretty rude, claiming nothing nearby was open, and eventually suggested I use Uber Eats. To make matters worse, I found out that my full room rate was charged to my credit card, even though my company had sent over a credit card authorization to cover my stay. I ended up resending that information and talking to the front desk again on my last night, but they still billed my personal card. The TV in my room had a big line running down the screen, but I was so worn out from the whole situation that I didn’t even bother to complain. The internet kept dropping, and it took almost five minutes to reconnect each time. The one bright spot was the breakfast; the team really nailed it there. I also tried to buy a bottle of water in the gift shop just before closing and was shocked to see it was almost $6 for a bottle of Fiji water. I politely declined and grabbed a two-dollar bottle instead. As I was leaving, I said good night to the lady at the register, and as I left the store she actually said, “I hope you never come back.” I could have sworn she made a snide remark too. On the plus side, the hotel has a fantastic location, and the security staff were great. The front desk and room attendants were nice as well. But the accounts department really needs to get their act together.

I arrived early and asked if my room is ready. It was prepaid, about $1500 for 5 nights. I needed a suite with a bigger table to conduct business amd office space. The room given to me was not the room I booked, Mine was supposed to be about 850 sq ft, The room I received was 330 at best. Went down… more

I arrived early and asked if my room is ready. It was prepaid, about $1500 for 5 nights. I needed a suite with a bigger table to conduct business amd office space. The room given to me was not the room I booked, Mine was supposed to be about 850 sq ft, The room I received was 330 at best. Went downstairs to say something. Front desk says that since I was early this was the room the computer picked as it was available. My response was cordial and I pointed out it was a prepaid suite and not the right room and why give me a room that was ready instead of just asking me to check back later which I would have been happy to do, I was then told to come back later and when I did they said the adjoining room was the rest of my suite. (Excuse me?) So they gave me an additional key to open the other side, saying that it wasn’t given to me right away because it had someone staying in it. Well, there is no way anyone was staying there because there wasn;t a bed in the other room. It was basically a full living room, office space and table with 6 chairs. Also when I asked where the suite level lounge was, I was told it was under upgrade construction. They gave me tickets for the breakfast buffet which was awful and definitely not what I needed which would have been what the lounge provided. Then I asked for more water to stay hydrated and they could only give me two small bottles at a time. Room was very dated and the famous Westin bed was terrible, very uncomfortable. I will not stay here again and it was my go to hotel for trips to the area.
