“You get what you pay for”
Room 716 was fine for a week while working in the 2024 campaign. Clean, Keurig, basic toiletries, good wi-fi, hotish shower, comfortable bed (with no bedbugs). It’s true that the room is sparce, just one elevator for 20 floors, the complimentary breakfast is a joke – the large dining room suggest… more
Room 716 was fine for a week while working in the 2024 campaign. Clean, Keurig, basic toiletries, good wi-fi, hotish shower, comfortable bed (with no bedbugs). It’s true that the room is sparce, just one elevator for 20 floors, the complimentary breakfast is a joke – the large dining room suggests there once was a breakfast that consisted of more than small pre-packaged muffins, coffee and water -- the bathtub scarred, the “Serve yourself” drinks outrageous and the front desk unfriendly. But the neighborhood is leafy and quiet and there are two good restaurants next door (Taverna Agora and Second Empire) and a good seafood a bit farther – 42nd Street Oyster Bar. I got what I paid for but my more discerning wife would have had us out of here in minutes.
