The Benson is a quintessential old-Portland hotel in the heart of the business district. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and fresh, with lovely views of the quirky city. It was impossible to not have great interactions with the hotel staff who were true locals, offering help, great service, and a special Portland flair and it's not uncommon to find that they've been attending to guests of The Benson for several decades. Kudos to my welcoming front desk agent Barnavi, for hearing ghost-stories from the veteran server Richard, and the receive friendly in-room service from Paul and Carl. When I return to Portland, I'll stay at The Benson.

“There's nothing better than a night at The Benson”
Without a doubt, a wonderful hotel stay. I love the old world details and craftsmanship on display in the lobby area. Our room was both beautiful and functional. Bathroom towels were large and thick. A weighted blanket was provided. The in room coffee was great. We'll definitely be back.

“Wonderful”
Room was a little small for our liking, but overall a great experience. He breakfast is a must to include while booking. Bobby was so lovely and gave me all the tips and tricks to make the most out of my trip. I’ll be booking here for my future business trips!

“Perfect place to stay near Moda Center!”
Beautiful hotel even better guest service right in the middle of evething! We got to explore downtown before or 10 minuet uber ride to moda center where we got to watch our Knicks beat the blazers, so it was a perfect day! Beautiful hotel even better guest service right in the middle of evething! We got to explore downtown before or 10 minuet uber ride to moda center where we got to watch our Knicks beat the blazers, so it was a perfect day! I want to say breakfast service was amazing meet Bobby he has been there 41 years gave me great info such as where to get gas and where the speed traps on I-5 are. We also got to town early and where able to check in early all around a really good experience.
