This hotel is in a good location might have your one or two homeless walking about, the breakfast is very good but they don’t keep the coffee or tea out all day just the mornings. The rooms are very clean and kept in a very good condition. The parking is not so great for bigger vehicles so be aware they have structure parking not outside parking the only way to enter the outside parking portion is to go through the parking structure and it’s limited at 6’6 so if you have a bigger vehicle gotta go park on the street like I did. The parking on the street gets crowded towards night so gotta be home kinda early but no paying for working at night,(8 am- 7pm) is the time to pay for parking but the parking enforcement I spoke too said he doesn’t come until 8:20ish so that’s a little wiggle room and then also the bartender at this hotel is a very great guy and has a lot of experience and knowledge of the Portland area so Make sure to hit him up and drink one or two with him and he’ll spill the beans on all the great restaurants and places to visit in Oregon

A pretty run of the mill Residence Inn. The location is perfectly situated next the waterfront and you're a short walk away from a beautiful water view. Breakfast is basic but there are some great brunch spots nearby. Downtown Portland is very walkable so you don't need a car, however, if you do bring one and don't want to sell an organ to pay for parking, park on the street overnight and either move or pay for parking after 8am.

The room was great, bed was awesome, everything in order, loved the kitchen and its appliances. Staff was also friendly and responsive. Gym and swimming pool were minimalistic, but there. By default there was no intrusive or excessive room-service as promised and as I prefer. So all good on the stayification front. BUT I was shocked to see only single use throwaway dishes and cutlery used at breakfast! Luckily I could bring my real dishes from my own room, but appaled no-one else did. Heaps of unsorted trash generated from every meal... And although the granola + seeds + yoghurt selection was good and I suppose making your own sweet pancakes with syrup appealed to the locals, there was a noticable lack of any other vegetables/fruits than bananas, no salads, oranges or freshly pressed orange juice etc. So although you wont leave hungry, there is some room to improve on the sustainability and healthy breakfast side!

I am staying here only one night for business. The reason I selected this hotel because it has self park. Room is normal, it is a sad hotel, view has nothing. I am staying here only one night for business. The reason I selected this hotel because it has self park. Room is normal, it is a sad hotel, view has nothing. My big issue here is the service at Reception Desk. At check in on 11/6 9pm, the receptionist did not recognize or say thanks for being a Platinum member. She didn't even allow me to check out 4pm although Marriott website clearly states that Platinum member can check out late at 4pm. Won't stay here again.
