Super friendly staff made this a great 5 day stay for me. The rooms and common areas were clean and well kept. The decor in the rooms is a bit plain, but in line with mid priced hotel chain. The bed was comfortable and having a suite with a sink and fridge plus a sitting area and desk was helpful. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the convention center and the area of town with restaurants and shops. Heritage Square is about a 5 min walk. Although I walked to most places, the hotel offers a shuttle for the airport and for downtown locations nearby. There is a small swimming pool behind the hotel, and a seating area in the lobby for breakfast. The breakfast options are limited, but enough to start the day. Scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, a meat option, breads, fruit, yogurt, and cereal were available each morning as well as a waffle maker and juice. While not a luxury hotel, it was comfortable, and I would gladly stay there again.

“Not great”

Not the greatest location to say the least, room was mediocre, the staff was friendly and accommodating, hotel overall was disappointing. Biggest issue is it’s location, simply not a desirable spot at all, close to Chase Field is about all I could say could about where it is situated

Location and price were a factor for choosing this hotel. In a relatively ok area but the rooms were outdated. The countertops were laminated formica from the 80's. The shower was a plastic insert from wall to tub and when you step into it you can bounce due to it being flimsy. The hotel itself was clean and so was the room just outdated.The only real issue we had was our room was on the street side and it was really loud. Apparently no sound proofing was done. From street racers to fire trucks just really loud if you get room street side. Surprisingly the beds were really comfortable. Usually hotels have rock hard beds that don't allow for a good nights rest. Overall it was a clean ok hotel for the price.

The off-putting smell of the lobby (was it smoke? Some weird cleaning solution?) set the tone for this stay. The online check in was not functional, so had to stand at the lobby desk until someone showed up to check us in. The room was clean enough with reasonably comfortable beds. The wall AC unit that I guess is standard for all these Springhills was very close to the nearer bed, making it noisy and breezy to sleep in that one. The neighborhood going towards downtown seemed fine, but heading east towards Tempe and the airport was definitely sketchy. It was an easy drive to the airport on Saturday morning. Overall, I felt like I overpaid for this stay.
