Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport - Phx, An Ihg Hotel

“Very Solid. Recommended.”

Overall fine. Staff was quite pleasant. Bed maybe a little soft. Water in the room would’ve been nice. TV selections were a shrug. Shower head was AMAZING. The bathroom, as a whole was fantastic. The overall setup of the room was comfortable & welcoming. Work space. Fridge. Comfy char/ottoman.

Iesha was fantastic as a Host at the front desk. Her overall charm and professionalism sets her apart from others. She is the reason why we will continue to come and stay at the Crowne plaza-PHX and she is the reason why this is a 5 out of 5 review.

First of all the front desk staff was very helpful .The manager on duty helped to get me in with my issues. The gentleman with the nose ring (nose ring was a lot) but he was helpful and nice. Ms. Iesha, beautiful lady was professional. efficient also. She relieved the manager and the man that helped me get checked in. The next morning on Saturday in the A.M. maybe the staff was tired.They weren't smiling and didn't appear to be content. This hotel has a lot of WE DONT TRUST, BECAUSE WE BEEN Burned Before policies= Pay a $100 deposit for incidentals, use an app to wash Deposit $25, use a card for everything (which is good). Maybe people snuck in the hotel before. The area is very busy, lots of vagrant people in the surrounding area. DUST,DUST, DUST....This hotel needs to be dusted. The lobby, light outdoor lights in the room, headboard, lamps, pictures and those hard to reach areas need to be dusted! Hotel housekeeping is hard work all ready. The staff should get extra pay to do the dusting at least once for those who can volunteer to put in the time. Pricing for a one night stay is very affordable and reasonable.. Upscale design and it will make you feel aesthetically comfortable

I stay here approx 1x a month. This visit was exceptionally poor. (Normally my stays are great!) my flight was delayed so I called ahead to reconfirm my reservation. No issues. I stay here approx 1x a month. This visit was exceptionally poor. (Normally my stays are great!) my flight was delayed so I called ahead to reconfirm my reservation. No issues. Upon arrival, desk staff stated I had already check in, which I had not. As a Platinum status guest, I usually get a welcome amenity (simple bottle of water or a snack) none was offered. Status was not even acknowledged. Given room number and key card. Once getting to room, there was a DND hang tag on the handle. I dared not to enter. I had to go back down to the front desk, related them what I encountered, and had to wait for them to find me another room. Mind you, after flight delays, it was now nearly 2am… I was assigned another room which was to their normal level of service, a clean, large room. At checkout, I mentioned no arrival amenity and it was just shrugged off ‘well, you’ll get your amenity points instead.’ Desk person asked if I wanted a printed bill, yes. Then I waited. No bill turned over to me. So I asked ‘are you going to print me a bill?’ Sure, here. This may be a one off experience, as I’ve had great service at this hotel. But this one stay was not their normal level of service.
