“Wonderful staff!”
Absolutely lovely staff! Jacqueline was amazing at checking me in--it had been one of THOSE mornings and I had left my credit card at home, but she found a work-around to allow me to input the numbers in place of using the physical card. She made what could have been a very stressful moment so much… more
Absolutely lovely staff! Jacqueline was amazing at checking me in--it had been one of THOSE mornings and I had left my credit card at home, but she found a work-around to allow me to input the numbers in place of using the physical card. She made what could have been a very stressful moment so much easier. Everyone behind the front desk was absolutely lovely about it, being very kind with each other and me while checking in the others. Later on, I had come back to the hotel after a team event and decided to take a minute at the bar. The bartender was super nice, chatty but not overly so, and just what I needed to wind down after doing 2 hours of business networking. Thank you so much for making my stay so nice! I can't wait to see what it looks like after all the renovations!

“No notice that the fitness center is closed.”
If a hotel is renovating and cannot offer an amenity, it should be noted on the website when booking. I had plenty of hotel choices for this conference and I absolutely would have chosen a different one if I had known the fitness center was closed. The website currently says it’s open 24 hours. If a hotel is renovating and cannot offer an amenity, it should be noted on the website when booking. I had plenty of hotel choices for this conference and I absolutely would have chosen a different one if I had known the fitness center was closed. The website currently says it’s open 24 hours. You can go to another hotel that’s down the street but I’m not going to walk downtown by myself at 5am to workout.

“Charming but Not Worth $200+”
Le Méridien has a cute, historic charm, but my stay was marred by several issues. Upon check-in, I encountered confusion with my room key, leading to an unnecessary trip back to the desk for a lengthy resolution. Le Méridien has a cute, historic charm, but my stay was marred by several issues. Upon check-in, I encountered confusion with my room key, leading to an unnecessary trip back to the desk for a lengthy resolution. While my room was clean and decently equipped, the west-facing rooms suffer from glaring, strobing lights from the office building across the street all night. The shower pressure was very low, and the advertised business center didn’t exist due to ongoing construction. Additionally, there was no assistance with luggage or doors. The staff was otherwise friendly and welcoming. Overall, not worth the 200+ nightly rate—perhaps only worth considering under $120, and even then, there might be better options in Rittenhouse.
