I'm just going to add to most other people's sentiments but with the specifics of my stay here. The service here is more on the casual side than the professional side. We were set up in a room where the heater did not work during winter. They remedied this by putting us into another room. We pack up all our luggage and go down 7 floors to reception to grab a key to a room that was literally just across the hall. We settled down into the new room and the toilet did not flush after being used. Opened the back unit up and the chain inside the water to operate the flush mechanism had rusted through. They did promptly replace and fix it. Do they need to be checking their rooms are operational before putting guests into them maybe? Being a Flyers fan, I was excited about the "philly sports bar" downstairs. The service was average and inattentive. The menu was decent but how do you run out of fries at 6pm on a Friday night? Being offered crisps as a replacement was almost offensive but there is nothing else in the immediate area, so we just went with it. Meals were supplied with no cutlery. Cutlery was requested and forgotten about. I had to ask 3 times to get a knife and fork, so my wife could eat her meal. The WiFi in the room did not work for half our stay. We were supplied with a call center number to contact who were not able to solve the issue that night. The bed was comfy and it's a convenient location in regards to the Airport, Stadiums and City. We easily walked home from Wells Fargo Center despite it being 15 degrees Fahrenheit outside. This was the most mediocre of the 8 hotels we stayed in during our united states holiday.

I think most people have this hotel pegged. It’s in an unbelievable location but I don’t understand Philly because it seems to be the only hotel in the area. How that is I don’t understand. I think most people have this hotel pegged. It’s in an unbelievable location but I don’t understand Philly because it seems to be the only hotel in the area. How that is I don’t understand. Perhaps if there were more hotels this hotel would feel the need to step up the game, but the TV’s in the rooms seem to be the only thing renovated in the last twenty years. I also understand that early check in might not be available, but if someone comes early to check in, you say the room is not ready, and they leave for three hours and return, how is it not possible the room is still not ready? (And at that point it’s just about normal checkin time anyway). Other odd questions: without a number of other immediate dining options, why does your restaurant have such limited hours and a gift shop where you can’t room charge?
