Mostly everything was fine. The hotel was clean but could use a little TLC, peeling wall paper, loose plugs in nightstand lamps-- could not hold a charger. But really my pet peeve is when they do not fill up the Shower Gel. It must have been close to empty and there ya are, showering, trying to get some gel out and there is none. So you have to get out of the shower, while it is running and make a water mess on the floor grabbing the soap from the sink. Then of course there was no paper to leave a note, and no housekeeping in the hallway. So we had to use a styrofoam box that had had leftover food in it and inscribe a note and leave it on toilet. That did fix the problem. But it seems this should be something they are checking regularly. Service was good, we went to the hotel bar twice and it was no problem. Front desk staff very pleasant at check in. Watch your bill, went to check out and there was a $20 charge for food charged to our room from the pool bar. We did not go to the pool bar and we did not eat there and we never charge to the room. It took some time for her to locate the receipt and indeed they charged to the wrong room and this was corrected. I probably would not have caught this if I didn't actually check out on in person. It is close to downtown, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is quiet and pleasant. Overall, it was a good stay and we would stay here again.

“A little dated but fantastic service”

I am sure there are sleeker and more modern hotels in Palm Springs; however, I was more than satisfied with my stay here. I am sure there are sleeker and more modern hotels in Palm Springs; however, I was more than satisfied with my stay here. Though it has a bit of a dated feel, the rooms and public areas were very clean and the service from the front desk was impeccable (free upgrade and late check-out--thanks!). Also, the bar staff was very friendly and attentive. I would certainly stay here again were I to return to Palm Springs.

“Best pool!”

I have to start with the pool area, which was absolutely fantastic. GREAT music, lots of umbrellas, outstanding towel service, and attendants who keep you hydrated with free water. I have to start with the pool area, which was absolutely fantastic. GREAT music, lots of umbrellas, outstanding towel service, and attendants who keep you hydrated with free water. Great bar and staff if you want something else. We had lunch out here and the food was really good and delivered fast right to our lounge chairs. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly. My bed and pillows were disappointing. The bed was a bit like a hammock with a dip towards the middle. I love when hotel sheets smell like bleach but these didn't. Great location close to downtown shopping and restaurants. There is an awesome deli (Sherman's) right around the corner which I will be reviewing separately.

“It's just okay. Wouldn't stay again.”

Let's start with the good. Decent location, an easy 2 block walk from downtown Palm Springs, and right next door to a casino. There are EV chargers which is nice, but only 4 of them and they are usually full. There is a Tesla supercharger around 5 blocks away. The hotel is very kid and pet friendly… more

Let's start with the good. Decent location, an easy 2 block walk from downtown Palm Springs, and right next door to a casino. There are EV chargers which is nice, but only 4 of them and they are usually full. There is a Tesla supercharger around 5 blocks away. The hotel is very kid and pet friendly, and the staff are all very nice. Now the not-so-good. Walking into the lobby I was met with a musty smell. The first floor of my building smelled even worse, it was so bad. Like a mixture of cigarettes and grandmas house. Fortunately my room smelled fine, and was clean. My biggest problem is that when we arrived at 10:30pm on a Monday, there was literally nowhere to eat. We drove around the entire downtown area and nothing was open. Everything in the hotel closed by 10pm, no bar, no room service. This is more of an issue with downtown Palm Springs in that everything closes incredibly early.
