My husband and I spent a wonderful three nights at the Tommy Bahama Resort and Spa in Indian Wells which is in the Greater Palm Springs Area. The resort is older and has recently been taken over by Tommy Bahama but they have done a wonderful job of remodeling and redecorating it. Everything was fresh and new but the plantings and trees were very established. The rooms have a typical Tommy Bahama tropical vibe. Our room was a very good size and since we were on the ground floor we had a nice little patio with a table and chairs. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was nice. We had two separate sinks, one in the bathroom and one in the dressing area which made things much easier when we were getting ready. The shower had obviously been redone with the bathroom remodel and there was a panel in the ceiling that I’m sure was there previously but it had been painted to match the ceiling and the shower and shower head were wonderful. The toiletries were a very nice quality. In fact the only criticism I have of the resort is that there really weren’t enough towels. Hand towels were only left for one sink and only two bath towels. There are two pools. One is a quiet pool and the larger pool has a bar and music. As soon as we found chairs the staff member brought us cups of cold ice water which was very appreciated. There are also bocce courts, and a lovely patio where there is live music in the evening. It’s a wonderful place to relax, after the sun goes down and it cools off. The bar and bar food was great and the drinks were wonderful and well made. The pool bar was nice and the cold drinks were appreciated on a hot afternoon. The restaurant, Grapefruit Basil, is not a Tommy Bahama restaurant but we ate there for dinner one night and breakfast a couple of mornings and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. There is a very nice shop in the lobby. It’s rather small but very well stocked. If you forget any item of resort wear, or simply want to add to your wardrobe they will have a very nice Tommy Bahama that you can pick up to bring home with you. There is plenty of parking at the resort and if you have a Tesla or other EV they have some chargers available. The biggest plus of this resort has to be the staff. Every staff member we associated with was friendly, accommodating, and smiling. It’s a great resort but the staff makes it even better. We will return.

“What a perfect experience.”

What an amazing hotel. Great amenities, clean room, perfect decor. Had a quick getaway for my anniversary, and needless to say we’ll be back. The staff was amazing and hospitable. Attendant Mikey picked us up from the EV charging and drove us to the front desk while he was making his rounds. Met the director Jon and he was also very kind. Server Bryan in the restaurant was super nice, and front desk manager Ana was very accommodating, was kind enough to grab a lotion for my wife even though he gift shop was closed when we went. An absolutely perfect stay!

The hospitality, food, pool and spa were very nice! Loved the overall vibe and look of the place. We had the Luxury King room for one night and it was an awesome deal. A couple things that we noticed is the bed was not very comfortable and it squeaks. The carpet was “Old looking “ and not clean. In the middle of the night, there was a horrible smell and it smelled like sulfur. Yuck! I called the front desk, they were professional and later the smell cleared out. It was totally weird.There were “clean towels in our room” but had stains. Shower is outdated but good pressure .The manager who checked us in was very friendly. The food was good, they messed up my breakfast. It was a classic benedict, eggs were uncooked and made it right the second time and dinner time they mixed up my meal with someone else’s meal. The meals were both very good when done right. Good ingredients overall. WiFi was too spotty, we had to turn it off because our data was faster. Overall the service was good. They have a couple kinks to work out but overall nice experience.

We had a spa pass for the day. The spa is highly mediocre, as is the fitness center. While there is a steam room in the spa area, there is no dry sauna and only two small shower stalls. This is a Tommy Bahama property, but none of the amenities are Tommy Bahama branded. No one comes around to clean or ask how you are doing. The co-ed waiting area is not especially tranquil. The "fitness center" does not have a variety of work-out machines. The mats are dirty and their are no stretching bolsters. There is a water dispenser that dispenses warm, cloudy water. There is no bathroom. Overall, the facilities are not that clean. Ugh
