This will be my go to hotel when I come out to the desert. Rooms are clean quiet and comfy. , Lots to do on site too. Friendly staff as well. Hotel is great for all ages. There are kids activities as well as adult things. I’ve traveled here with my family and by myself on business. Will definitely continue to stay here when I come out for work every year. The gym is also very nice.

“Loved the Hawk experience.”

Had an awesome stay. Highlight was the kids getting to hold and fly a hawk. They had so much fund and will remember it forever. Hotel was decent and Cava restaurant was better than expected. It would have been good if they had a waterslide but kids still loved the pool.

This is the third year we've stayed here, because they host our daughters' dance convention. The problems don't change (in spite of requests to fix some of this). In July in Indian Wells, the sun rises about 5:40am. And you'll know it, because the light comes into the room, bright and early. There are no blackout curtains. There are shutters, but those don't do a good job of blocking all the light; you can read a book in the room with the shutters closed. So, unless you're an very early morning person, this might be annoying. The bathroom has a sliding frosted glass door. If someone gets up in the night to use the bathroom and turns on the bathroom lights, the whole room gets lit up. I don't see why an opaque door wouldn't work better. It's as if the room designers never stayed in a hotel room, or they don't grasp that many people prefer to sleep in the dark. Otherwise, the room was clean, comfortable, well furnished. The food selections at the various venues are pretty limited, but everything we ordered was well prepared, quite tasty. Last year, wait times were pretty long, but better this year... Except: Room service. I called and the phone just rang, no one answered. I called the front desk to get a door hanger to order breakfast. They sent one up. For some reason, housekeeping does not provide these like in most hotels. Our breakfast arrived, on time, tasted fine. But no replacement door hanger for the next day's breakfast. ??? This just seem silly. There's coffee / quick food shop with pastries, breakfast items. One day there was a line about 1/2 hour long to order. Getting to the front, the staff advised that the espresso machine was out of order. When someone suggest to the staff that perhaps they should let the 50 people standing in line know that there would be no espresso drinks, the man behind the counter just shrugged and said nobody can tell the difference between espresso and brewed coffee anyway. I think some customer service training has been missing. The walk from the lobby to the ballrooms is outside, in the sun, as is the walk to the parking garage. With temperatures always over 100F (it was 120F when we were there), it would make a lot of sense for the hotel to put up awnings over the walkways. Another suggestions that never gets acted on. Overall, the hotel is neither terrible nor wonderful. It's a shame that there are some problems that are really straight-forward to fix, but they don't seem interested.
