We called the day before and made reservations for a wheelchair accessible room on the second floor. We have stayed in that room before so was happy it was available. The person told us they had an elevator so no problem. We get there the next day and we were told the elevator was down and had been when we called. They put us in a 1st floor room with no ocean view and a pet room. It was not pleasant. After reading the reviews I discovered the elevator had been down for at least 2months. Had we known about the elevator problem we would have looked else where. The hot tub was also broken. I normally love this motel but now will think twice before booking again. The lack of concern was problematic. Perhaps they didn't think someone who is disabled would still like to see the ocean and enjoy their vacation.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the overall experience was good. However, the room was not very clean, the small coffee pot was dirty and had residue in the water tank, the throw cover on the couch was dirty and the couch was not comfortable, also the bed was not comfortable and the exterior windows were dirty. We would not suggest people not stay here, but this was not what we had expected.

Decided to take a long weekend at the beach and stayed here. I’ve stayed here before but it’s been 25+ years since I did. This hotel is located right along a beach access road making it ideal for family’s looking to spend most of their time in the beach. Ground floor rooms have no view (all you see is the beach bush. 2nd floor and up you can see the ocean. This hotel is pet friendly (for an additional fee) and quite a few people had dogs with them. As one of the older hotels it’s very much rundown and out of date. I arrived to find that all of the elevators are out of service. The staff is very friendly and check in was fast and easy. The front speak also provides (upon request) basic toiletries like a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, and shaving cream. They have a pool, hot tub, and sauna. A fitness center and breakfast room where a free breakfast is served every morning. The breakfast is quite nice: eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice. The room was nice, on the first floor. Clean and well maintained. Nice open layout. Mine came with a jacuzzi tub. There is a small patio you can access from the room (though the view is blocked by bushes. There is no air conditioning, but the windows does open and there is a ceiling fan. There is also a gas fire place in the sitting area. The rooms has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Over all despite the dates and run down exterior I am pleased with my stay and would definitely stay here again.

“OK”

The elevators aren't working. The stairs and carpets are dirty and not vacuumed. Hallway is spackled for paint and unkept. Bathtub did not drain well. all emails say Best Western, but I was told they aren't any longer. No offer of room service - new towels/coffee for 2 night stay.
