This is a large-size Wyndham time-share resort property with elegant accommodations. Location: The Wyndham Royal Garden at Waikiki is a 25 story high-rise property located off Kuhio Rd. a few blocks from the main Waikiki strip. The walk to the beach is about a 10- minute walk across the main road. The walk to the central Waikiki district is about a 10-15min walk. Many stores, shops, and restaurants are also a few minutes away. Accommodations: Most of the units are studios with a few one and two bedroom units. Our unit was upgraded to a one-bed (Presidential) unit which had a larger sized living room with table for and chairs. The sofa was also a pull out queen size bed. A large flat screen TV allowed easy viewing from table or sofa. The bedroom had a comfortable king size bed with a dresser and medium sized flat screen TV (although difficult to view from the bed). There is a small balcony with two chairs (there is also a smaller balcony off the living room but without chairs) . The bathroom was roomy and had a single sink with adequate counter space and a large walk-in shower. It appeared that this unit was recently remodeled). The furnishings were nice; lighting was very adequate and bright. This unit had a kitchenette: full sized refrigerator, microwave, small dishwasher, coffee pot; and dishware and utensils for four persons. This Presidential unit also had its own washer and dryer. Amenities: There is an air conditioner unit in the living room and bedroom (separately controlled); and sufficiently effective. There is a combination safe present. On the fourth floor, there is a very nice outdoor Asian-style serenity garden with seating. Also located on this floor is a business center (with two desktop computers and printer), work out room, and seating area with TV. Pools and Grounds: The grounds and pool areas are nice and adequately kept. There is one pool for the entire complex. Staff: All were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
