“2024 God's Word Only Ministries retreat”

We came down for our God's Word Only Ministries, Men's retreat this year. The hotel saff was very helpful, friendly, check-in went smooth for our group of 25 guest. The staff was always smiling and speaking in a very pleasant voice. Who stood out the most to me was Mrs. Cheryl when we came down to eat breakfast. She was on point. She has a very welcoming spirit. She made sure our order was taken with the concern of making sure it was right. Mrs. Cheryl was very friendly while attending to 25 guest in my group and another ladies group of 12-15 women at the same time. Bringing out plates, taking up plates, while still checking to see if anyone needed anything. And she never missed a beat. There was never a sign of being over wame. Mrs Cheryl talked with us but kept it short and keep it moving. The rooms were very nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable. The pillows are too soft for me, I like a firm pillow. That's nothing to keep me from coming back. O yeah and there's plenty of restaurants and shopping (mall) within 15mins in the area. Conference room was great for our classes/sessions. They have about 4- 6 conference rooms. Plenty for the gathering. Over all we enjoyed our stay

“Excellent service”

Cheryl is the best host!!! As soon as you enter the restaurant area she greets you with a smile. She thoroughly explains everything about the current service offered and offers to get you anything you need. THANK YOU CHERYL for brightening my morning! You definitely made my day great!

Good news.....Bad news. As is usually the case with HGI, the front desk team was professional and welcoming. Breakfast was good, and the "breakfast team" was very capable, quick and good. The bad news: the room itself was not as clean as it should be, in-room lighting very poor, no soap for the shower (small bar at sink); toilet paper folded under...rather than over (admittedly a small thing, but indicative of poorly trained housekeeping staff). But the biggest negative was the height of the toilet. It was the size of what you might expect to find in an elementary school. If you're taller than 6'0", or older than 55, you will likely find this somewhat uncomfortable.
