“Great location and staff”

Near to the subway, times square (but also far enough), resturants and stores. The team was friendly and helpful when needed, amazing view from my room (21st floor)

“Got to love a YOTEL!”

I just love the vibe at the YOTEL New YORK... a fabulous location and it ticks all the boxes when on a business trip to New York!

“Good Stay”

I recently stayed at the Yotel for 4 nights. I went with my boyfriend and another couple. When we entered, the check in process was easy as we used the self service Kiosk. Check in is at 3pm with the option to check in early for an additional fee (as described on their website). You can leave your bags at the hotel using the Yo-bot. The process to use it is easy, however if you don't put your bags in a specific way or it's heavy, the machine shuts down and you have to wait for an engineer to come and restart it (happened to us 3 times). When we first arrived at our room, everything seemed fine. We loved the view from the 15th floor. However, after we noticed that the shower was not cleaned fully and that the adjustable bed did not go up. In addition the signature purple led lights around the TV also did not work. Everything in our other friends room, who was also on the 15th floor worked no problem. We did ask to switch rooms and we were moved to the 24th floor. The room was a lot cleaner and the view was nice. The housekeeper was also very friendly and asked us if we wanted services, which she did an amazing job at. The adjustable bed, however, did not go up. This honestly isn't a huge dealbreaker in the experience. But, I personally feel that if a hotel is going to offer a feature, then it should work properly and be consistent. If you're in NY not really spending a lot of time in the room and just want a place to relax, it's great! The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the natural lighting in the rooms are nice. There is a 24hour CVS and lots of places to eat within a few blocks of the hotel in case you're looking to see or eat in the area. It's about a 15 to 20 minute walk from Times Square as this hotel is more in Hell's Kitchen. We all had a chance to sit and experience the terrace. We loved it and recommend the drinks and flat breads. The bar stays open until 12 and I believe have a 1hour grace period to wrap up as they are cleaning. Keep in mind though, you might get attitude to leave the area. Other then that, the wait staff was 10/10 most nights. On one of the nights, it was hard to get a waitress over but they did apologize.

“Better than what the reviews had me expect”

The room was functional and clean. Hotel location is great and overall it offered good value for money for a Time Square hotel.
