Not my first time in New York but my first time staying at the Broadway Plaza and will definitely not be my last. The hotel is well situated and within easy walking distance or subway ride of many of the well known and lesser known sites. It’s not high end but the rooms are clean and comfortable and there are many restaurants and cafes in the area, including just outside the front door. Finally and importantly for me, the hotel staff are wonderful (and that goes from the GM right through to the cleaning and maintenance staff). They are helpful and friendly and after staying there for six nights I felt sad to say goodbye. I definitely recommend the Broadway Plaza as a great place to stay.

This was a great hotel to stay at during our trip to New York. All the staff are brilliant, helpful and friendly, shout out to Anthony, Michal and Gaston on the door. The room was fabulous, junior deluxe suite on the corner on the 12th floor with a balcony and a direct view of the Empire state Building. The location of the hotel was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

First trip to NYC with my sister and niece for a 3 night girls trip. I couldn't have been happier with our choice of this hotel. Location was excellent. It was close to everything we needed, felt very safe and across the street is a fun rooftop bar which we visited 2 of our 3 nights there. Hotel staff was very courteous and attentive, and the doorman was always ready to open the door for us with a smile and a Welcome Back!. The room was very clean and bigger than I had anticipated with a view of the Empire State Bldg. Even the dreaded subway turned out to be a lot of fun and would deliver us one black away from our hotel! We will definitely be back and look forward to staying at this hotel again. I don't think you could make a better choice. The only negative I can say about our trip was that the traffic going from hotel to airport on the day we left was horrendous! It took us over 2 hours to go the 14 miles from the hotel to Newark airport. We didn't realize when we booked it was the friday before Memorial Day weekend. The taxi driver did say it was the worse he had ever seen trying to get through to the Holland Tunnel. We did miss our flight, but fortunately there was another one an hour later which we were able to find seats on. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Great service, caring staff.”

On Thursday, May 16, my husban and I took the train from Albany down to NYC for an overnight trip to see a show and celebrate my birthday. Checking in at the Broadway Plaza, we were very happy with the reception staff and our accomodations. After dinner and a show later that evening, we decided to stop at Anita Gelateria two doors down from the hotel before going back to our room. Unfortunately, as we walked outside to sit at one of the cafe tables on the street, I tripped on the curb and came crashing down in the pavement of the road. People came from all around us to see if I was OK (don't let anyone tell you that New Yorkers don't care!). A quick assessment of the situation: the scrape on my brow was bleeding a lot, but not serious, and my right wrist was clearly broken. Walking back into the hotel lobby, supported by my husband, I was a literal bloody mess! The hotel staff were immediately at our sides with water, band aids, and a promise to bring ice up to our room. They also called the hotel doctor, who we spoke to on our room phone. In need of treatment for my wrist, hotel staff not only supplied us with a bag of ice, but also called a Lyft to take us to the hospital, where we ended up spending the night. I was released with my arm in a splint and sling until I could get to an orthopedic specialist back in the Albany area. When we returned to the hotel around 6:30 or 7:00 am, a new shift of reception staff was equally attentive and kind, allowing us to delay our check-out time slightly so we could attempt to get some rest before leaving on a much-earlier-than-planned train back to Albany. In spite of the fact that our trip was cut short by *my* trip, and we didn't get to spend the night at the hotel, our experience was extremely positive. Your staff are caring, attentive, and professional, and we would highly recommend the Broadway Plaza to anyone. We hope to return someday soon for a disaster-free "do over" of our stay! Again, thank you for all of your kindness and understanding during a stressful situation, and please relay our kudos to your staff, from the doorman to reception to housekeeping. Every one of them was amazing!
