Booked this hotel online after looking at the trip advisor reviews and it's location on a map.. I was a little concerned that I had emailed twice to confirm our reservation and did not get a response.. I finally called and got a super friendly person who confirmed the reservation. The location was great, quick walk to Times Square, restaurants, shopping, metro very close.. It is a small hotel, a little older and could use some upgrading in areas. Our room was fantastic. There were 3 of us so we booked the Blue Quad room with 4 singles, 2 above 2. The beds were super comfy, the room was very clean, the linens and towels were clean, new and very plush. There was plenty of room for 3 people and the sink counter / vanity was in the main room, the shower in another and the toilet in another so we could all use the facilities without standing in line. The rain shower head, mehhh, not much water pressure so made washing and rinsing long hair pretty time consuming. The windows overlooked building walls and an alley but we were only in the room at bedtime so not a problem.. The swimming pool was closed for the day when we got there and no one under 18 could use the pool after 5 pm, we knew this ahead but it was disappointing that after a long day of sightseeing the kids would have enjoyed a swim. We were there for 3 days and if I needed a room for 3 or 4 I'd go back in a heart beat.. The staff as super friendly, knowledgeable and arranged airport transportation for us..

Excellent location and cool, funky place to stay right next to Time's Square and the Lycium Theatre. The decor is quirky and clever and the beds comfortable. Very well sound proofed from the noisy outside bustle. Only critique would be the floor cleanliness when we first arrived wasn't great; looked like the cleaning staff made up for that the next morning.

I would have given 5 stars, but as they failed to do our room 1 day during our 5 day's stay, I can only give 4 stars. The room we booked was small, but had everything you need for a comfortable stay in the city. The rooms are extremely practical, but if you need a desk to work at, then this is not the right hotel, as this was not available. I had the impression that everything was rather new, the shower, the toilet, ... There are enough amenities available. If you need something more, just ask and they will provide it. We were on the 5th floor and you have a bit of noise from the street, where it could be very busy. The checkin was fast and friendly. There was a bar and also a nice pool. The locations is a plus. You are a 2-minute walk from Times Square. Also at walking distance from Macy's, Fifth Avenue, Central Park. Also very close to the Metro entrance from where you can access the other neighborhoods of Manhattan.

The hotel is very close to Times Square if you want to be there. The hotel was generally quiet but once you went outside it was extremely loud which is to be expected. The rooms were fine, the bathrooms nice too. I reserved way in advance and got a decent price. Disliked · They made us wait an hour after the check in time to check in. We sat around in the lobby. They said housekeeping wasn't ready and it would be just a few more minutes and then it was 40 minutes more. For this they gave us a coupon for the bar for which I got one drink. This was not enough to make up for the long wait. Then I keep getting different information from different staff members about using their hot spot for my foreign phone. One staff member would say one thing and the next one on the next shift never heard about it. This happened repeatedly so my advice is not to use theirs at all because they are unreliable and get your own sim card or something because you never know if the hotel's will be available even if they say it will be. My sense was there was no internal communication between the shifts at all . I was in a smaller room until my daughter joined me and in that Basic Queen room the bed was so high I had trouble getting into it as I am elderly just so the other old people know this could be a problem. In the Twin Room the beds were lower.
