The location was right in the French Quarter. We had to pay extra for parking but we were in their private lot across the street from the hotel. We did not drive at all, everything was in walking distance to the French Quarter. There are many many restaurants and bars to satisfy your hunger and thirst. The Hotel St Pierre is historic. Maybe a little too historic as the wood floor in our king room was loose and the bathroom door knob was very loose. All they need to do is tighten things up and make a few repairs and it will still be historic.

“Beautiful place to stay”

Awesome staff s and great service. Sooo quiet and quaint. Felt extremely safe. Wound distance to grocery and the Schooner Bar.. you won't be disappointed. My second time staying there are both times were GREAT! Please please look at website! Great pool area

The good: the hotel property and rooms are beautiful. The location is good for those interested in walking the French Quarter -- close enough to everything that it's walkable but far enough away from night life that the area is quiet at night. The good: the hotel property and rooms are beautiful. The location is good for those interested in walking the French Quarter -- close enough to everything that it's walkable but far enough away from night life that the area is quiet at night. Dog friendly. The bad: Toilet not clean on arrival -- urine on the rim. Zero water pressure. None. I've stayed in historic properties in the past and don't expect normal water pressure but this was ridiculous. My wife described the shower as "like trying to wash from a leak in the ceiling." If you have thick hair, you're never going to get the shampoo rinsed out. 50/50 odds whether the toilet would refill after flushing -- sometimes it would refill in a few minutes, other times it took 20+ minutes. Reported to front desk, they said maintenance would check on it, they never did. I ended up using the ice bucket to refill the toilet tank from the bathtub after flushing. The water pressure thing isn't just on the 2nd floor either, friends who stayed in ground floor rooms had similar experiences. Interestingly, lobby restroom has no water pressure issue at all. The bed was ridiculously high -- too high for my wife to be able to get in. We had to go to the lobby at midnight on the first night to get a step stool. Not sure why one is not left in the room; friends who stayed at the same time DID have one in their room. Roaches in the room at night. The ladies at the desk were always friendly and helpful. Can't say the same for the men -- one was kinda lost and the other just rude. Bit of a crapshoot whether there will be anyone there when you need them. Are you a bald pole vaulter? The smaller rooms are cramped but a decent deal if you can deal with climbing into a four foot high bed and you don't need to rinse shampoo out of your hair. If you're looking at one of the larger rooms -- avoid, you can get better service elsewhere.
