Embassy Suites Nashville at Vanderbilt

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Vanderbilt for three nights. Check in was a nightmare, hence the four star rating and not five. The system was down and the staff was overwhelmed with a crowded lobby full of patrons who wanted their rooms. What we didn't appreciate is that the staff initially told us our rooms ;we booked two rooms) would be ready in 30 min. 30 min became two hours of waiting in the lobby for our rooms. The other issue is the happy hour time frame. Online the hours say 5:30-7:30. There is a tiny sign on the front desk that says 5-6:30. Please Hilton, update your hotel info for your guests. Otherwise, the hotel is fine. There is transportation (first come first served) to downtown. The breakfast offers many choices and what I would consider deluxe. Food at happy hour has a nice assortment of appetizers, but just remember the hours are 5-6:30, not 5:30-7:30. Also, many restaurants close by and within walking distance.

Older Embassy Suites but pretty nice room. The air conditioning wouldn’t circulate because the door to the bedroom would not stay open. So it got stuffy. Rooms need usb for cell phone charger. Older Embassy Suites but pretty nice room. The air conditioning wouldn’t circulate because the door to the bedroom would not stay open. So it got stuffy. Rooms need usb for cell phone charger. Made to order omelettes were very tasty. Staff could have been a little friendlier. When I worked at Embassy Suites in Cincinnati we were alway smiling and happy our guests were there. Valet when we picked our car up and dropped luggage seemed annoyed and so did the cook making the omelettes. Need to work a little more on customer service.
