We decided to try this resort and the four golf courses as a first trip to Myrtle Beach for Golf. Most of the reviews were pretty good, but there were some very negative about lodging. I was a assured by the resort they had solved this and they certainly did. The lodging was clean and comfortable. The four courses were good to great. The Dye course wasn’t in great shape with slow fuzzy greens. It seemed like they don’t put as much effort into this one. The others, Love, Norman and Fazio were much better but still slow greens. The free breakfast was horrible! I’d have gone to McDonald’s if my group would’ve agreed instead of eating there days 2.3.4. The sports bar by the driving range was Awesome!!

“Not what we expected!! Communications was Non-existant!!”

Salesman painted a very different picture! We arrived late after driving 12 hours from NJ and was welcomed with a closed store front and no directions on how to check-in. After numerous phone calls we finally found the key box and info. The condo was a large 3 bedroom unit on the bottom floor. As we entered there was a terrible stench/smell that lasted the entire 4 days we were there. (Of course we tried to call the office- no answer) Light bulbs were out in the primary bedroom, carpets and bathrooms were dated and soiled, kitchen was sparsely stocked (we had to buy extra toilet paper and tissues, as well as other kitchen items). The communication between office and renters was non existent. We stopped by the office everyday and no one was there. The saving grace was that the golf courses were challenging and fun. The folks at the courses were friendly and lovely to deal with each day. We never used any other facilities because no-one gave us a map, instructions and where to go or any helpful information that would have made our lives much easier during our vacation. Book a hotel on the beach and enjoy Myrtle Beach instead!
