“Chose Cambria on budget reasons but the hotel was a pleasant surprise.”

Chose the Cambria because of its location and wanted to be close to the airport. That was a mistake. It was directly in the take off pattern from RDU and the constant traffic overhead was annoying. Guests at Cambria Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport say: Chose the Cambria because of its location and wanted to be close to the airport. That was a mistake. It was directly in the take off pattern from RDU and the constant traffic overhead was annoying. It did subside over the course of the night. Their park and stay was available. On line it was much more expensive. The shuttle service was a disappointment, on arrival back after our trip I called for the shuttle service like I was instructed and the driver arrived and didn’t stop at the ground transportation area number seven like they said he would. Our plane was delayed and it was getting late and he never stopped. After calling back to the desk I was told that he arrived and we wasn’t there. The driver lied. We were standing under the sign clearly. He passed right by. Then when I called again they told me he would return but never did. It cost me 25 bucks for a taxi ride. Only a five minute ride to airport. Pool was closed and that was a bummer. Our flight was early so we left before breakfast was available. Comfortable bed. The young man that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Just don’t trust the shuttle service.
