“Total package. Hotel, employees and the 50’s style cafe is superb!!!”

Such a neat place. The staff is helpful and friendly. Clean rooms, huge bathroom with walk in shower. Beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. The cafe had great food and our waitress was on top of service. Parking garage was very convenient and seemed very safe. Hotel is fantastic.

I had mixed feelings about booking this property after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised after our weekend in Memphis. There were some hiccups, but that is true about many places, including other nearby boutique-style properties, many of which we have stayed at. Personally, I found the mid-20th century decor and design of the hotel well done and interesting. It seems this may be a sticking point for a lot of folks, but I found the throwback ambiance refreshing, from the lobby to the rooms. I also appreciated the secure parking deck, easily and quickly accessible. The location, a block from Court Square and two from Autozone Park, is stellar, although it's not without its' share of colorful locals about (probably best to Uber or drive late at night, but that's true of most areas in Memphis). As for the bedding, I slept like a champ both nights due to the quiet room and fantastic sheets. As for the hiccups, I will be brief. The front desk was mostly very good and friendly, although upon arriving late on the first night I stood outside the locked lobby entrance for a solid 5 minutes before security let me in. Then, while checking in, the busy front desk clerk failed to mention my platinum status or give me a rundown of property benefits. After asking, I was informed that I would receive two items from the onsite grab and go, which was fantastic. The restaurant is being renovated, and the unique pool area is locked up. So in terms of extra amenities at the hotel, there is not much more to do than hit your room, lobby for coffee in the morning, or the basic gym. That worked for us just fine (although it would have been nice to sit in the pool courtyard the warm Saturday we were there), but might throw others off. Other than those minor issues, I thought the hotel was great and would have no problem staying again on a future trip to Memphis!

This place is very nice and modern from the outside and in the lobby, but the rooms could use a few updates. My blinds were broken so I couldn't open them and see the city view, which was disappointing. Also, there is no door on the bathroom, but instead a weird sliding panel that leaves over an inch of space around the sides! I was traveling alone, but if I had other people with me I wouldn't have been able to use the bathroom, as they would be able to see and hear everything. They also charged a deposit fee, although that seems to be common these days so I won't ding them for that. Overall a nice place I would stay at again, but some minor changes would go a long way.
