“Good Location”
The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. The hotel is in a great location. It is about a 10-15 min walk from the Greensboro station on the silver line. It was a challenging walk in the snow as the surrounding businesses do not shovel the sidewalks, You also have to cross a major highway, Th… more
The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. The hotel is in a great location. It is about a 10-15 min walk from the Greensboro station on the silver line. It was a challenging walk in the snow as the surrounding businesses do not shovel the sidewalks, You also have to cross a major highway, They have a hotel shuttle anywhere within a 2 mile radius, which I was not aware of on check in. The shuttle does not operate during inclement weather. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room. The fitness center has a treadmills, an elliptical, weights, and a peloton bike. I would stay here again if in the DC area.

I am writing to say how grateful I am for the very personal and very compassionate service I received from Sergio at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tysons. I was traveling to the area for a devastating funeral loss, and did not know how long I would need to stay as the arrangements had not been finalized yet and I was assisting family with them. Sergio took it upon himself to ensure that I was comfortable and had the same room as long as I needed. His individual concern, along with great care from Jennifer, assisted me in being able to do what I needed to do for this serious event. “Great place”
Great stay - very comfortable mattress & pillows. Hotel staff friendly & efficient. Definitely recommend - would stay here any time. Close to lots of good dining & shopping. Shout out to Kizuna Sushi just up around the corner!

“Not the best HGI I've been to...”

My stay in November was less than stellar. I was in a room with an adjoining room door (not my preference), and the noise from the other room was impressive and quite clear - as if there wasn't a door or wall there at all! The hotel advertises a shuttle, but when I inquired about availability I was told that it only services a 2 mile radius, and that it didn't start before 7am, and that the driver had called out the day before, so there wasn't a guarantee that he would show up the next morning at all. The restaurant cook seemed to be missing without reason as well. The lighting in the room was quite dim, even when all the lights were on. The tub floor was really slick and they found the smallest tub manufactured to be able to fit it in the bathroom. The HVAC is responsive to the thermostat controller, and cycles on and off appropriately - but very, very loudly. Maintenance staff spent most of their time in the hallway on my floor talking loudly. Lastly, although the nearest Metro is about a mile away, they are still charging for garage parking, which is ridiculous. Nobody is parking at this hotel to avoid a garage fee somewhere else!!
