Best service EVER at a high class hotel. Spoiled and don't want to go anywhere else now! Expensive but worth it!!! Hotel is amazing and the views are outstanding. Food is excellent and all the employees are the friendliest I've ever seen! We would come back here, and only here in Maui!

Continues to impress, continues to refresh, continues perfection Hotel remodel not as intrusive as previous posters had indicated ( could just be timing). Lobby is gorgeous the best redesign of the last 5 or so redesigns I recall from my multiple decades worth of visits. Staff is excellent: welcoming, warm, efficient and world class. Serenity pool was sublime. Ferraro redesign elegant, Spagos back to five stars ( had a few rough years) , Duo in the morning delicious with excellent warm legacy service. World class luxury and I’ve been all over the world.

“Probably the best resort in Hawaii”

I went with my family to the Four Seasons Hotel/Resort in Hawaii in July of this year, and it was a great experience in general, from the amenities, to the staff, to the restaurants, it was a great place to stay if you’re visiting Hawaii with friends and family.

Wailea is such a special place, and over the years, we’ve had many wonderful experiences at the Four Seasons Maui. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet the high expectations we’ve come to associate with this hotel. The service, once a hallmark of this resort, has significantly declined. At Spago, we noticed only two employees managing the dining room during dinner service, which led to delays and a less enjoyable meal. At the pool, it repeatedly took 30-45 minutes to receive a simple soda. One day I asked for a water 3x before receiving. These lapses in service made the experience feel far removed from the Four Seasons’ usual standards. Adding to the disappointment was the food quality, which can only be described as mediocre. For a resort of this caliber, we expected healthier, higher-quality ingredients. For example, the ketchup served contains high fructose corn syrup, a controversial ingredient banned in many countries. Details like this make the dining experience feel outdated and far from the elevated standards we once experienced here. The rates keep escalating each year, yet the occupancy is noticeably lower. From conversations with staff, we learned the hotel was only at 50-60% occupancy during our stay—a stark contrast to the 90%+ we’ve seen in previous years. The rooms, while still comfortable, are beginning to feel dated. They could use a refresh to better match the premium pricing. While Wailea and this property hold a special place in our hearts, this experience left us questioning whether the Four Seasons Maui still delivers the luxury and excellence it was once known for. We hope to see improvements in the future so it can regain its former glory.
