The beachfront room was absolute perfection. We were steps away from the best beach on the island. Room felt spacious, very clean, and updated. The lanai had lounging chairs and a small table for dining. The pools never seemed over crowded. Beach chairs were available for guests. The service was wonderful. Great place for couples and families. We will stay at Napili Kai every time we go to Maui.

“Our incredible trip to Maui and Napili Kai Beach Resort”

We booked our stay at Napili Kai through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. The resort was amazing! We had a studio with a full size refrigerator. The beach was steps from our room. Donna gave us her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. We used it when we did decide to eat out.

This is an excellent resort with plenty of Aloha spirit. We travel alot and can honestly say this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It is low rise on a beautiful bay with sandy beach, clear water and amazing fish to see snorkeling on the reef and rocks. Gardens have many varieties and buildings are Polynesian style. The sunsets are also spectacular. The rooms are clean, large with beautiful views and well stocked to allow self catering. A shopping bag and cool bag were provided and a 2 litre jug to fill up with fresh drinking water available in reception. Coffee and tea were available for early birds and afternoon tea in reception and at the beach cabana with "cultural talks" at 1030. There were various daily activities if you wanted them when you could meet other guests such as mini golf on the 18 hole putting green, mai tai reception and lei making party. We also enjoyed the Polynesian dancing display by local young people. We met many families who had returned multiple times and no wonder. You can walk or run along a beautiful promenade and coastal walk or up to Pineapple hill past the golf course almost from the edge of the property. During our stay everyone respected quiet time during "island hours" except one guest which was handled sensitively and promptly by the duty manager Mark . All the staff were charming. We ate at Sea house one evening and there are 3 restaurants within walking distance or others in a short drive. I would recommend Merrimans on the next bay which was a wonderful experience. Parking was super easy and free. There was a main pool and 3 smaller ones plenty sunbeds and free towels. Nice beach kiosk to purchase food and drinks and a lovely boutique on site. There were also barbecues for guests use that were cleaned each morning. We would definitely return if only we didn't live so far away in the UK.

First time staying at Napili Kai and it was absolutely amazing. Stayed for a full week in a Family Studio room with our 1 year old and it was sublime. Room----The room was massive with a big lanai, massive bathroom with double sinks (no tub, just shower) and separate toilet. There was a full kitchen with all the very basic stuff you need for cooking. Please take note there will not be any condiments or any kind in the room nor any ziplock bags, foil etc. It came with basic bakeware, cookware, utensils, and plates, bowls, cups etc. The room was billed as an ocean view room, and you could see the ocean, but it wasn't a spectacular view. Our friends were in the basic studio room and had the most amazing view ever. Even so, we loved the space of this room considering we had a one year old with us. What was also great about Napili Kai is they included the crib, high chair, and a diaper genie for our stay free of charge. Just amazing, we loved the room. Hotel----The hotel offers many activities throughout the week, each day is something different. The have morning coffee and tea every day, multiple pools and hottubs, beach chairs you can use for free, towels, among other things. We found the beach chairs super convenient, we rented a few at Boss Frog's but didn't even really need them. The grounds were very well kept up for sure. The have some bbq grills, however they seemed really far away from our building, the complex is quite vast and spread out. The mangos falling out of their mango tree were delicious!! Beach/Surrounding Area----The beach is simply the best part. Napili Bay is gorgeous, crystal clear water, sandy bottom, a bit of snorkeling, and very chill. We took our 1 year old out swimming in her inner tube daily. Just check photos, the beach is stunning and hotel is literally right on the beach. I also love the proximity to Kapalua Bay which has better snorkeling and is another great beach. It was a 5 minute walk for us from our room out to Kapalua and probably a 2 minute walk to the Napili water. There is a shopping center with a pretty good market, coffee shop, Boss Frog's and some other food options. The on site restaurant at Napili Kai was pretty good as well. Pricey, but would definitely eat there again. I can't recommend this resort enough, 10/10 would come again!
