We were on our way home from Michigan and our first stop was St. Louis Mo. Our stay at the Hollywood Casino Hotel was great. The room we had was located on the 3rd floor, but had no view. The beds were so comfy, the towels fluffy and room clean and neat. Not sure how old this hotel is, but it looked either pretty new, or very well kept. The casino was an easy walk from the room and we really enjoyed it. It wasn't too big, like say Winstar, but very manageable to maneuver around. The parking was easy and not that far of a walk to the hotel. Recommend and would definitely stay there again.

“Great quality room and service”

For about the same room price you'd pay for a typical Marriott chain hotel with questionable rooms and likely something to be broken or not working inside your room there, here you get a first class appointment with clean sheets and very comfortable beds.

“A great and under rated place to stay”

I used to stay at those tired and old Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn/Maryland Heights and this is much nicer. Nicer, in that I don't feel like every department is short staffed and have no employees to assist the guests and their needs. Under rated!

“Sold out Sammy Hagar Concert”

We stayed for 2 nights over the Labor Day weekend for a concert. We stayed in Sunset Tower, which apparently has around 100 square feet less than Rodeo Tower rooms. All of the staff from the front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, waitresses, and everyone in general were helpful and pleasant. The shuttle to and from the concert was a nice add-on and convenient. I will say that we were going to a sold-out show, and the line for the shuttle was about a mile long. They did have about 15 shuttles, though, and we met others waiting and had a good time. It took us about 45 minutes waiting to get back on a shuttle after the show on way back. I'd still ride it again, though, for $15 bucks. Our room was just okay if I'm being honest, and the bed looked broken down and was saggy. As others stated, the box springs were old and just outdated. We made due, but feel like they need to replace the beds with something nice and new. They could also use another chair in the room. The room served our purpose, and we would stay again, but more than likely in Rodeo Tower, as I hear it's bigger and more updated. I'd suggest checking around on rates. We decided to add on a night and was able to do it for like $125 bucks, which was way less than we spent on the second night. Either way, the casino was fun. I don't smoke and didn't feel like it smelled at all. Had a great weekend and would stay again for another show. If you're up in the air and you're going to a show, I'd stay again, hands down.
