“Wonderful”

Just a get away for a few days. The staff has been friendly and helpful. Room service was fast and easy. Although I broke even on the slots. It’s been a Nice time.. Recommend to everyone.

I like that the machines that I like to play that were taken out were back. Just the moving walking wish they always worked back and forth. The receptionist was wonderful and helpful. The people that are coming to the casino are also welcoming wishing us good luck.

I booked a 2 night stay here for a birthday weekend getaway. The hotel is clean and the room was nice! We had a non smoking floor on the 7th level. I had worried we might smell smoke however we could not. The room was quite large, the bed was very comfortable. The comforter that comes on the bed though…it’s loud haha. Like you can’t move at night without it crunching. It was quiet at night (which some hotels really aren’t!). I will tell you one thing …if you’re expecting things like restaurants or coffee houses to be around, there is absolute nothingness by this hotel and casino. Literally nothing for miles…it’s in the middle of corn and soybean fields and right on the river. Really, quite a bizarre location. Pretty…but so strange. We enjoyed the casino…there’s lots to do there. We aren’t large slots fans but spent a fair amount of time at the table games with the live dealers. The dealers are all excellent there, we appreciated the tips at the craps table having never played before. There is smoking allowed in the casino, which I think is gross, but it wasn’t too too awful of a smell. I would highly suggest making the entire establishment non smoking. All of the food with the exception of a small cafe in the lobby is in the casino area. So…if you are traveling with minors, they cannot go to the food establishments. I didn’t have minors but again…this is really strange. Just don’t bring minors here, there is literally nothing for them to do. We did not use the pool but that’s the only thing kids can do there. They can’t even go to eat and instead you have to bring food back to your room for them. We ate at the grill….i had a burger and fries and it was really good. I would have liked to try the pizza but it was closed on Sunday. We had some drinks at the bar which were good as well and we really liked the seating area by the sports book. A whole wall of TVs playing the college and nfl games and really nice seating. Big sports fans here so it was nice to sit and watch the games. I had a reservation for Gordon Ramsey steak. We had been to the one in Vegas. This one was quite nice as well…not as exceptional as the one in Vegas, but I was pretty shocked a Ramsey restaurant in this area (middle of no where). The food was excellent, what you should expect from Ramsey. I had a Wellington last visit so I got wagyu this time and it was incredible. All the food was delicious and the service was pretty decent. Overall the stay was a pretty great one!
