This hotel had a very nice room. The refrigerator could be a little bigger in order to hold a bottle of wine. Loved the fact that the shower had large bottles of Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body wash instead of those little bottles at other hotels and even some resorts. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were outstanding. Housekeeping had a very fast response time.

“Excellent hotel!”

We enjoyed how quick the checkin was + clean the entire hotel was. We will be back again for another stay. Our room was very large and had 2 windows which we loved. The rooftop pool was a plus to the stay. Location, Location, Location! We were able to walk to all of the establishments

“Night before the cruise.”

The room and fixtures have a nautical theme. Hall carpet very think so dragging a suitcase on wheels is harder than it should be. We arrived the day before our cruise. The room and fixtures have a nautical theme. Hall carpet very think so dragging a suitcase on wheels is harder than it should be. We arrived the day before our cruise. The hotel does not have a shuttle. Uber black was $65.00 to the hotel and $65.00 to the port. Restaurant was closed. That may have been due to s water leak of some sort. The coffee shop provided free coffee and a pastry in the morning.

I came to Hyatt Centric LB the weekend before Fourth of July to explore it as an option for holiday and summer festivities. I was quickly impressed by the humor and uncommonly friendly approach from hotel staff when I bumbled through the property trying to find the pool access. Every single person working there greeted me with a huge smile and had a comfort interacting with one another that let me know this was an A+ hospitality team. Upon arrival to the pool area, I was met with whimsical and sweeping views of the Port of Long Beach including the iconic ferris wheel. The pool area and cabanas were spotless and the lounge furniture and chairs were cushy, perfect for a long overdue catchup with friends and Aperol Spritzes. Speaking of, the bar staff was knowledgeable with their drinks suggestions and highly personable even while the sun turned us all into sweaty monsters. Although there was some confusion with the delivery of a food order, I was particularly impressed by manager Paola's swiftness to correct the issue and the bar staff's swift handling of the matter. Paola was polite, deferential, and quick to make us feel at ease hanging out enough that we stayed for more rounds. We will definitely be coming back!
