We checked in around 9pm at the invited guest line. Arlette was excellent, after a long day of traveling she understood our every need. Her customer service was great and she informed us of all the benefits we were entitled to as a titanium elites. She should teach a class on what great customer means. Detailed, friendly and empathetic, she delivered on our requests and provided us a nice room with a view. Check in can sometimes be so impersonal but our experience with Arlette was certainly not that. In terms of the hard product and views Aria has been and will continue to be my go to. Furthermore, Arlette customer service was in the top .01% of all front desk staff that I have ever interacted with. This is particularly telling because I’ve spent over 1,000 nights at luxury hotels world wide and am globalist with Hyatt, titanium with Marriott and diamond with Hilton.

Stayed for 2N in November. We have stayed at Aria in the past and loved our experience but this was our first time coming back in 7-8 years. So decided to stay back at aria. Let me tell you, rooms have become old and service is almost non existent ! Rest of the hotel is still the same but I wouldn’t stay again here. Rather stay in one of the newer hotels. Check in process was easy and didn’t take too long since we arrived early in the day. But check out took almost 30 minutes.

“Aria needs to up its standards, especially around cleanliness”

I stayed in a king strip view room at the Aria for 3 nights. The room was a reasonable size, though typical from my experiences in Vegas. The strip view was OK, but given the Aria’s set back position from the strip and my room’s level 17 location it wasn’t anything amazing. The Aria has a weight sensitive mini-bar fridge, so I asked at check-in for a fridge to keep my medication. This didn’t arrive, so I have to call down a few hours later again to arrange for the fridge. When I first checked in, the tables in the room were quite visibly dusty, and the side table between the two lounge chairs had some big globs of a sticky substance, which perhaps was honey left over from a previous guest’s breakfast. This made me question the cleaning of the room. On using the toilet the following day, it clogged, and I had to call maintenance to fix it. When the maintenance guy left, I saw he had a trail of brown coloured drips between the toilet and the main door, which was gross. I cleaned this up myself with wet wipes. I went out for the day around noon, and set my room to be serviced. But when I returned after 9pm it was untouched with the service light still on. I called down to housekeeping and got them to come and service things while I waited down in the casino. Housekeeping after the second night was much better, and I noticed the room was much cleaner. It’s a pity that this wasn’t the service on check in or after the first night. On one of the nights I could clearly hear people talking in the room next door, so the walls are not particularly soundproof. I had breakfast room service, which was delivered in bags like door dash. This has positives and negatives – the positive being it was quick to just take it and shut the door; the negative in that once my breakfast spilt in the bag because it was packed in a bowl with loose lid. It took between 30 – 80 minutes for non-cooked items (yoghurt and granola, and overnight oats) to arrive depending on day and time I ordered – so some days fine, other days too long. Overall, all the staff I interacted with were pleasant, but the hotel needs to up its standards to be competitive as a 4 star resort, let alone a 5 star – I found my stay to be a mixed bag at best.
