“Anniversary”

We travel with dogs, so stay at Motel 6 as they are pet friendly! We have never been to Lafayette so we’re not familiar with this facility. The very first thing we noticed was the grounds are impeccably clean. Our room was clean. It was a pleasant surprise as motel six are not necessarily kept maintained well. This one was clean and comfortable. If we are ever back in the area, we will not hesitate to stay here.

“Great experience-will be back”
We love the friendly environment. The rooms are basic, but clean. Breakfast is basic, but everything is fresh. The pool is truly great. Pool furniture in good condition. For 48 dollars it really is a great deal. We will be back in July.

“Basic economy motel, but clean!”
We stayed at this motel due to travelling with a pet. The rooms are basic, no extras but it was clean. When we first arrived, it smelled like moth balls (as other reviews had mentioned), but after running the air conditioning for a couple of hours the smell went away. We stayed at this motel due to travelling with a pet. The rooms are basic, no extras but it was clean. When we first arrived, it smelled like moth balls (as other reviews had mentioned), but after running the air conditioning for a couple of hours the smell went away. The carpet was new looking and was clean. The bathroom had a newer tub and was also very clean. I can't complain about the housekeeping, they did a good job cleaning this room. Yes, it was a value priced room and that's what you get. It was very quiet at night which I really liked, no outside noise to disturb our pet or ourselves. It was not 'spooky' after dark, we weren't afraid to walk our dog before going to bed. We didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. There is a wonderful Waffle House just down the street if you want a bigger breakfast. When travelling through this area, we will stay here again.
