“Don’t understand the hate…”
Ok maybe I do understand the hate a little bit. For the same price you could stay at a Conrad, Jw or Ritz elsewhere in Florida. It’s 5* prices for a 4* resort. Ok maybe I do understand the hate a little bit. For the same price you could stay at a Conrad, Jw or Ritz elsewhere in Florida. It’s 5* prices for a 4* resort. But it’s not advertised as a 5* resort so if you’ve done your research you should know what you’re getting into. This is just the price of KW. I was very worried after reading the reviews, but that all went away. It’s wonderful. The rooms are clean and feel updated. The facilities do feel a little “rustic,” but again that’s sort of the charm of KW. Didn’t eat a ton at the restaurant, but the views alone are incredible. Drinks are great. Pool and beachside service is fantastic. The pool area feels very clean and it’s pretty. Massive iguanas came and hung out around the pool deck. The beach is gorgeous and the best we’ve seen in KW. Hence the price tag I think. Clean and soft sand all the way into the ocean. Someone comes around with popsicles in the afternoon. We’re here during Spring Break and it doesn’t feel crowded at all. Always able to find seats. The location is fantastic. Even with little kids we’ve walked everywhere. We would definitely come back. Checked out Casa Marina their sister resort. It’s much grander and feels quite upscale. The restaurant prices definitely reflect that. However, their pools looked very meh. The beach was rocky so The Reach beach wins in that area by a mile. We looked into staying there and now that I’ve seen both super glad we picked The Reach.

The was our family's fifth stay at THE REACH hotel in Key West, FL. We had a GREAT time. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful (THANK YOU SOPHIA and ANNA). Hotel is in the "Old Town" part of Key West, and close to all points of interest. Our room, ocean view, was very nice. Cleaning staff kept our room clean and neat. The restaurant staff (FRANIA) were friendly and knew my drink order by memory by the end of the week. Beach/Pool attendants ARE THE BEST !!!!!! Lilli and Stephanie ARE GREAT!!! Our family has already decided to come back next year. WE LOVE THE REACH HOTEL !!! Best and Only hotel you want to stay in while in Key West, FL

“Can you credit us with the $200 compensation”
We were offered the compensation owing to the fact we waited an hour for our room to be ready. Told it would appear on our account. “$1500/night absolutely NOT worth it”
Pros: GORGEOUS VIEW. Spacious king suite. Nice bed. Large private balcony. Dining was pretty good except once when food came out barely warm after waiting 45 minutes. Minimal TV channels. Cons: Valet required. No valet in site. Had to find him. No bellhop service-ever. I would think at this price … more

Cons: Valet required. No valet in site. Had to find him. No bellhop service-ever. I would think at this price point, that there might be a little something in the room upon arrival. No microwave. No freezer. Outdoor beach shower wasn’t working. The furnishings in the living area were definitely substandard. Signs posted saying that if you smoke or bring outside food into the pool are they will “cut off your WI-Fi! Classy. There is absolutely no feel of anything remotely luxurious about this room. I expected more. A lot more.
