“Great value for money”
The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. The swimming pool never seemed to be busy and all the staff in the hotel were friendly and polite. The hotel's location was very convenient for me and taxis often came past and are quite cheap… more

“Well I HAD a good time at least”
Unsure of the negativity in the other reviews - i've stayed here twice before a cruise and have had a pleasant time. Claudia was a gem greeting us at the door, and we ended up showing up early and had no issues checking in sooner. Would highly recommend to fellow travelers, especially if staying b… more

“Location is excellent, but the hotel is sadly lacking”
The location is opposite the Miami Marketplace, which has excellent bars, restaurants and shops and the view from the corner room is spectacular! However, it is an old hotel “tarted up”. The location is opposite the Miami Marketplace, which has excellent bars, restaurants and shops and the view from the corner room is spectacular! However, it is an old hotel “tarted up”. I think our room has been recently renovated, but the air conditioner is extremely loud, the bathroom tiny and the shower warm at best. Also, not sure what happened in the corridor last night, but using a carpet cleaning machine at midnight, is not on! A full length mirror on the wall/back of door would have been nice too. But my main issue with the hotel, which is 3 stars at best, charges 5 star prices. Over $300 a night (or $450 Australian). I’m angry with myself by being sucked in by the online photos.
