“If you like jazz this is your place.”

From the minute we walked in the hotel had a great feel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a room in the 3rd building on the 4th floor. The room was still being cleaned when we arrived at the room. The rooms are spacious and so clean. Shower was a bit damp all the time but realised if you keep the door open and the doors to the veranda this cleared quick. We went to the bar. Staff were chatty and wouldn't even let me take a dirty glass back to the bar. The hotel has jazz playing throughout even in the pool area. If you like jazz and a funky retro hotel this is your place. We will visit again. The pool area was being upgraded as you can see some of the wooden floor was starting to decay. Once completed this will be the perfect area for an evening drink / relax.

Nice quiet hotel. Room was clean and tidy with 2 queen size beds. Bathroom with Italian shower. Staff very friendly. morning breakfast was classical continental fresh and tasty. We parked on the 16th Street, 2 MN walk for 20$ per day, while other parkings wanted to charge 40. Tip: from Washington S… more

Tip: from Washington Street turn into 16th Street in direction of Collins, that parking is on the right side just before traffic light. We plan to come back to that hotel location is very nice to walk to the beach or to restaurants

Located very close to the South Beach. The hotel offers it's own lounge chairs at the beach. But you have to rent an umbrella if you need one. A few minutes walk to the beach. This is Collins avenue, parallel to Ocean Drive. This is a fairly pricey and posh area. But it's very close to busy L'Espanola and it's cheerful bars and restaurants. This is a fairly intimate, boutique hotel with free wifi and barred private entrance. Our ground floor room had two huge queen beds, a microwave, crockery and a fridge. The air-conditioning was a relief in the Florida heat! The inclusive breakfast with three tables in the lobby was very basic. Toast, cereal, coffee,orange juice and tea were unlimited. But you were limited to only ONE CROISSANT which seemed rather odd. We lost our iPhone and the friendly staff found it as we were checking out. The receptionists were very friendly and helped us book tours, Uber cabs etc.

One night stay before the start of a cruise. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spacious room and met our needs. Complimentary continental breakfast was a great bonus with coffee, juice, pastries, cereal, toast, apples. Great price and perfect location in South Beach. I don't think we took any photos but easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, souvenirs and the beach.

The negatives: next to a building being renovated so construction noise; room was dull and plain; bathroom was crazy small, the vent didn’t work & window didn’t stay open, also no hooks/bars to hang towels - not even a TP holder; no elevators - stairs only; thin walls - could hear neighbors; breakfast was a joke - cereal & bad coffee; windows were frosted so you can’t even look outside; air conditioner was ancient & loud; window curtains were stained.
