Professional and friendly staff! Very comfortable room. I was offered an upgrade for direct ocean view and o am glad I accepted. Excellent experience! My only suggestion is to adopt the system that the room key is able to work like your credit card that you left on file.

Great experience, excellent service, excellent food. Room very clean. Perfect beach, great sand, good waves. They enforce the no smoking and no music without headphone policy pretty well. Valet, concierge, front desk are great. Pool was crowded, lots of kids, cloudy water, but good sun and shade areas. We were in a suite in tower 2. Room was cool, but the AC seemed to have trouble keeping the humidity down. Excellent location to Ocean avenue and the closed off street with the shops.

Excellent location...warm welcome...good security presence...plenty of helpful staff in lobby...nice (but expensive) restaurant/bar off the lobby...nice rooms...active pool...quick access to beach. We were there for a conference and the brunch was excellent as was the staff. ("More coffee, sir?") On departure day, the staff in the lobby was quick to help check our bags when we wanted to walk around a bit after we checked out. No extra charge. And the front desk did delay our check-out by an hour, which we appreciated. As you'll see in the attached picture, Loews Miami Beach is comprised of two buildings, the original and another one to the south they may have acquired and retrofitted. Make no mistake, it's a nice building with excellent rooms--but it's not as convenient as staying in the main building. While lunch was good, I didn't appreciate being charged $8 for a glass of lemonade, and I really didn't like getting charged $8 more for each refill without a heads up. Full disclosure: When I told that to a subsequent bartender hours later after dinner, he pulled up the check and took it off the bill. I also appreciated the lunch staff giving a heads up the gratuity was already included in the bill. The valet parking left a bad last impression: It seemed to take forever to get our car, and when I complained I was told it had actually only been 14 minutes (!). That seems like a long time. When we got in the car, the valet had taken the time to turn on the radio--something I've never used in that car--and left it on to a to a Spanish-speaking station. All in all, 4 stars! We'd go again. But a few hiccups along the way.
