Although we reside in North Miami, we frequently stay at the Cardozo when wanting the South Beach experience. The hotel has been beautifully restored with a Modern Art Deco appeal with palatial marble floors and many original aspects of the building's historical architecture. There is also a wonderful restaurant Call Me Cuban on the ground level with a picturesque wrap around balcony with outdoor seating and often hosts nightly Latin performers to further immerse you in the local culture. The very personable staff at both the hotel and restaurant are amazing and always make us feel at home and one of the main reasons we continue to stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and we prefer the Courtyard view for a quiet experience but still having a lovely view. The hotel sits at the corner of Ocean Drive and 13th street where Ocean Drive is closed to vehicle traffic so you are able to easily step across Ocean Drive for your beach experience with great beach amenities provided by the hotel. Or you can easily walk to the Crunch Gym for a vigorous work out compliments of the hotel. And as you walk through the hallways of the hotel, you are visually reminded of the many movies shot at the hotel over the years as well images paying homage to the hotel owners, Gloria & Emilio Estefan. There is no place in South Beach we would rather stay...J & N

“Exceptional Cardozo”

We LOVED staying at the Cardozo. The location was perfect for an evening stroll along Ocean Drive, for the beach and also a bike ride around the local area. We LOVED staying at the Cardozo. The location was perfect for an evening stroll along Ocean Drive, for the beach and also a bike ride around the local area. The actual hotel was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, stylish rooms, and an attractive lobby and bar. We especially loved the little courtyard filled with plants and somewhere chilled to relax. Staff were polite and helpful - from servers (Frankie) to lending us bikes to explore. Would come back in a heartbeat and definitely recommend to others. Thanks so much

“Good fun good food good people”

Staff friendly Facilities clean Location perfect. Had a wonderful experience maybe add a mirror in 222 above the outside sink so it can be used as a vanity also the view would be amazing but it’s blocked ultimately those are suggestions that didn’t change a wonderful experience

The Hotel itself was very clean, rooms were fairly good size comparison to other stay in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful, one excellent server experience and one poor server experience. The band and ambient was awesome drinks were good, food was delicious. The only problem I had was the language barrier, concern when I called to dispute or understand charges to my credit card. Neither Spanish nor English were we able to receive or deliver contact information. I still haven't received an itemized statement for charges received.
