Our stay at Ko’a Kea was nothing short of excellent from start to finish. The concierge team was helpful and warm in their greetings. House keeping kept our room clean and comfortable. Valet was quick and helpful recommending off site local good eats. Noah at Red salt was amazing! We also rented some gear from Hoku sports on property and Leila gave amazing beach recs and also food recs. Last but not least, we enjoyed morning yoga with Teri each morning looking out at the ocean was such a cool experience. Bonus, the spa at Ko’a Kea was wonderful, our therapists were professional and delivered the relaxation we were seeking. We’ll be back! Thanks Ko’a Kea

Beautiful oceanfront property! Smaller and more intimate than the large hotel chains, but has everything you need . We met a number of folks that were repeat customers, so clearly they have a loyal customer base. The hotel is a u-shape and the ocean view rooms have a good view of the pool and the ocean. Ocean view rooms are the size of a larger hotel room - bathroom is a good size. Ocean front rooms are literally ocean front.. probably would consider on the next stay. Lobby is beautiful and bright. The small gift shop off the lobby has everything you might need. The pool and hot tub area are very nice and if there are no chairs available there, they also have chairs on the lawn area that face the water, and are a few steps to the pool. Pool bar is great -shout outs to Erin and Jessa at the bar… so much fun! Breakfast at the hotel is great, and for breakfast there is also a small grab and go option. Additionally there are also food options a short walk from the hotel-including a Starbucks 😊. (Try the French Toast at Anuenue at the Poipu Shopping Center…yummy.) The spa services are good -we had 90 minute hot stone massages that were very good. The valet services are very efficient and they were a great resource for directions and restaurant. recommendations. We had a lovely one week stay!

Excellent experience at Ko’a Kea! A real gem on Po’ipu beach! Clean, cozy, quiet, and well appointed. A real contrast to the larger, crowded, busy resorts on the island. Restaurant was great! Erin at the pool bar was amazing and made a great stay even better! All of the staff we encountered were courteous and happy to help. If we find ourselves in Kauai again we will definitely be returning!

First, the staff were very sweet and helpful throughout, particularly the valets, waiters, and bar staff, and the resort has gorgeous beaches and views, with a convenient location for touring south Kauai. However, we were there for 3 days, checking in late on Thursday after a long day hiking, and checking out Saturday morning for a long day of travel returning home. We had trouble getting hot water in our shower that first night (Thurs), and notified the desk both on Friday morning and Saturday morning to see if we could get it fixed or use another shower elsewhere in the hotel. Long story short, at the end of the trip we were left with cold showers throughout our stay and no solutions or regrets offered by engineering, the front desk, nor management, but we were handed the final invoice without recourse.
