Very nice, clean hotel. Great service and friendly staff. The room was very neat and clean, with soft beds and pillows. We had zero issues with anything in this hotel. Even had a bar, if you need a cold brewski after a day at Arrowhead or Worlds of Fun. Nearest restaurants are in abundance in Liberty, 10 min away.

Near downtown KC in an industrial area near interstate 35 though I heard no noise the one night I was there. Not next to a courthouse. The annoying design with the sink in the room and the toilet)shower in an enclosed room. Clean and typical HI Express. My friend's mattress was fine but mine sank in the middle. Typical Express breakfast but they never replaced the empty cinnamon rolls while I was eating.

The hotel is near the power and light district but also next to the courthouse where lots of People hang out. I didn’t feel safe walking at night. There was a concert at tmobile arena next door and the hotel filled up. The hotel disd not have enough parking available (keeping in mind we paid $20 a night) so i had to park illegally. An officer came up to me to inform me i was parked illegally and i explained the hotel said i was ok to park that way. I didn’t sleep well worrying my car was going to be hit or ticketed . I had to put my trash in the hall because the cleaning service skipped our room. The worse was there was a dirty stained towel hanging on the rack. It was wrinkled and obviously not clean from first look. When we took it down had a big fresh yellow stain on it. The one redeeming quality was the woman who served breakfast. Such a beautiful soul who sang to us as we ate breakfast.

Staff is helpful and friendly. Free breakfast is good. Quiet area during the night. However, emergency traffic can be heard. Train whistles can be heard at night. 1. Construction in the area obscures the street name. 2. Property is older building- has been renovated 3. 1 elevator 4. Room- A. Faucet in sink is a poor design - flowing out the faucet some of the water dribbling backwards to drench the counter. B. During renovations Sheetrock was not replaced around the sink’s drain pipe. C. Lid to the toilet tank doesn’t fit the tank - loose, can easily fall. 5. Breakfast area very small. Especially when college sports teams stay at that location.
