Our family of 6 stayed here during the week in September and had a great time!! It wasn't crowded at all but I'm guessing because everyone was back to school. I'll try to leave a detailed review to try and be helpful. CHECK-IN: The check-in process was a little slow getting through the line but had no issues when it was our turn. We were there with a group deal so we didn't have to pay the $15/day parking (which I think is ridiculous...if you are staying the night, parking should be free). ROOM: We had a basic room (not themed) and it was very clean. The only issue was that one of the dresser drawers was broken so it didn't open and close. We decided to keep the AC fan on all night for background noise and to help drown out any hotel noise. We all slept really well. We did the texting service to get more blankets, towels, and toilet paper during our stay and had very prompt and friendly service. WATERPARK: The waterpark was a blast!! Our kids (ages 5-13) loved it! The water was actually a comfortable temperature compared to other indoor waterparks that tend to be too cold. Since it wasn't very busy, we had little to no wait times for the slides. We also felt like the lifeguards did a great job with paying attention to their area. The waterpark and bathrooms were very clean as well. ACTIVITIES: The only activities we did were yoga, dance party, and mini golf but we enjoyed them all. The kids also did craft time which was just ok but they enjoyed getting a balloon animal! We chose not to do the Paw Passes but we may rethink that for next time. It is worth it if you want to do the extra activities which we didn't do this time. FOOD/GIFT SHOP: The gift shop and candy store were WAY overpriced (even for a gift shop) - we expected things to be marked up but this was a bit ridiculous. We chose to eat out since the prices would have been the same if not a bit cheaper for most likely better food based on previous reviews. (I recommend Joe's KC BBQ, it's about 18min away and the best BBQ around!!) We did get ice cream and felt like the double-scoop was well worth the money and it can easily be split between 2 people. We also got Starbucks every morning and I'm pretty sure those prices were the same if not a tad bit CHEAPER than normal. All-in-all, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

“Great resort, terrible customer service after the fact”

The resort itself is a lot of fun. I treated my daughter and her family to a stay for my granddaughter's 6th birthday and they had a blast. The issue I have is that I purchased a day pass for $57.27 online a few days before the trip. We all checked in and I got my pass, and had a wonderful visit. Now that the trip is over I see that I have two charges for $57.27 on my credit card and have spent hours trying to reach someone in their Customer Service department. I'm in queue for 30+ minutes before being connected to an agent who can't help but transfers me to the hotel, where the phones just ring and are never answered. I've opened a case with the 800# agent who could not help me but said someone would follow up and I've yet to receive a phone call or email a week later after a half dozen calls/chats/emails. Great experience at the hotel, but non-existent customer service after the fact.

“Mediocre wayerpark”

First time coming here and was expecting more. I'll start with the water park.. slides were fun and my 9 year old son and I had a blast! The lazy river was also relaxing and fun. I was expecting the waterpark to be a lot bigger and kind of was disappointed in the overall size. Limited seating, so only snagged 1 chair for my family of 6. We ate at the on site restaurant and couldn't believe how expensive our bill was. 18$ for just 5 sodas. Don't get me started on the food. So mediocre and so overpriced. I regret not getting a pizza or eating off site. We were the only family at the restaurant at 6 pm, now I understand why. The ice cream shop was cute. It carried bakery items, Starbucks coffee, a big variety of ice cream. The candy shop of course was way too overpriced. The events were fun. The 2 employees really did amazing getting into the dance parties, bingo, etc. My kids loved that! You get a free pair of wolf ears that you have to ask for in gift shop and my kiddos loved receiving those. The rooms were okay. They actually upgraded us to a bigger room with an upstairs loft and bed. So that was cool! Microwave, fridge, shampoo and soap were in the room. We've stayed at Grand Country resort in Branson and in my opinion, great wolf doesn't compare to Grand country.
