“Great Getaway!”
We had a perfect 3 days at the Shem Creek Inn. Our room facing Shem Creek was wonderful - comfortable bed, clean, well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. “Glad we stayed here instead of in the downtown area of Charleston. Much more scenic”
We stayed three nights here and was pleasantly pleased. Our room was on the second floor and facing the creek. The other side faces the swamp area. “Week days on the creek.”
The view from the balcony overlooking Shem Creek is wonderful. Being on the boardwalk to watch the boats and the sunsets is the reason we have stayed here. Friendly staff and great service. Enjoy talking to people when walking on the boardwalk.

Great location. Great vibe. Great pool deck. Nice size rooms. Not quiet inside or out though, so just know that.
