Location: Located in the Charleston Historic District, this hotel is the only antebellum residence in the area, restored from an 1860 railroad warehouse. It is located in the heart of downtown, adjacent to the Charleston Museum. Guests can visit the legendary Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired; and the USS Yorktown in Patriot's Point, located in nearby Mt. Pleasant. The hotel also provides guests with easy access to the Gibbes Museum of Art and the American Military Museum.
