We have a two BR suite. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Furniture and the bathroom hardwore show some wear and tear, but they are still functional and mot broken. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom water pressure and temperature are good. The complimentary breakfast is the standard hot breakfast, baked goods, bread/bagels, self served waffles, juice bar and coffee/tea stations. They changed up the hot breakfast for the two days we stayed there. Breakfast room is spacious with tall ceiling. The reason for 5 stars is their customer service and care about their customers. Tammy who worked at the front desk at night went out of her way to contact a hotel guest who was not attending his laundry in the washer. Antonio (houseman) was very helpful to assist us as well so that we could do our laundry at 10pm.

greetings, recently been at homewood suites santa fe north for a three days stay in may 2024. the hotel is an older homewood suites. the hotel grounds are quite nice, it's part of a resort that includes a casino and a golf course. our room was in the main building and there are several other smaller buildings that offer rooms so it is quite spread out. the hotel is located north of santa fe (15 minutes drive) which is quite ok if you want to split your time between the santa fe downtown area and the other sites of interest that are located north of santa fe (e.g. bandelier national monument, los alamos, etc..) although it's clearly an 'older' property, it is still in good condition and very clean. you obviously see the wear-and-tear in the rooms (a bit of carpet missing, some chips on furniture, etc..) but nothing that would be a no-go for any visitors. this is your typical homewood suite setup with a separate bedroom, a living room area and a kitchen (with full fridge, stovetop, microwave) and some basic cooking stuff and utensils. the bed was comfortable, the bathroom functional. the furniture in the room is nice - solid wood furniture. the breakfast room is quite nice (high ceiling with wood beams and a 'buffalo' head) - typical southwest. the breakfast itself (included) was your typical hotel buffet breakfast, quite ok, good selection. Staff was quite helpful and friendly throughout our stay. the price point is very good even if you are 15 minutes drive from the city - hotels in the downtown area of santa fe are very expensive. santa fe historic city is very nice - but very tourist-centric - certainly worth a visit, good museums, nice adobe buildings everywhere. the bandelier national monument is a must see in our opinion. beautiful nature and historic ancient dwellings - go to alcove house in the park, stunning.. enjoy. /Montrealer2

“Striking views and good value.”

Beautiful location so scenic. Next to the Buffalo Thunder Resort. The suite was adequate with two rooms and the cutest little kitchen. Beautiful location so scenic. Next to the Buffalo Thunder Resort. The suite was adequate with two rooms and the cutest little kitchen. Had all the kitchen needs, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware , even a toaster! Beds were comfortable my only problem was the water pressure in the shower was a trickle. Breakfast was elaborate for most free breakfasts and eggs did vary from day to day. Items were replenished immediately it was an impressive breakfast experience in a beautiful high ceiling Pueblo style dining room.

“Not a good stay”

Unfortunately this was not a good stay. My Honors status was not acknowledged on check-in which really bugs me, although the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this was not a good stay. My Honors status was not acknowledged on check-in which really bugs me, although the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are outdated and require a refresh but clean and well appointed. The big issue for me was lack of sleep. Noise in the rooms is horrendous. Of the 4 nights we was at this hotel, we managed 1 night of full sleep. The first two nights we was kept awake by a beeping that would last 5-10 minutes 3/4 times a night - and as a result of this we moved into another block but sadly on the last night we was kept awake by a loose fly screen getting blown in the wind as well as the noise of running water and other noises from the room next door. A 6 hour drive to Denver and a 9 hour flight then followed this and our lack of sleep made this very difficult. Breakfast was lacklustre and so we chose to eat in town 2 out of the 4 mornings.
