“Very Comfortable & Well Maintained”

On our way up to NYC, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Fredericksburg Conference Center and were very pleased! Large, clean, lovely modern room with a fabulous bathroom. Bed was super comfortable. The entire property was well maintained and close to I-95. Will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here two nights. The first after leaving Washington on a week's drive around Virginia, the second a week later on the way back to DC. It was a convenient stop which was the only reason we picked it. There is a poor choice of restaurants in the vicinity. I got a good night's sleep both nights. On the return night, the hotel was very busy with an Elks convention. The beds are comfortable. The AC was not noisy. Room and bathroom were clean. Though the bathroom needs refreshing. Especially the second one. Dove toiletries are excellent. The hotel does not offer complementary breakfast, so we ate at the IHOP across the road. I asked for a quiet room away from lifts and ice machines, when I booked. Both times the hotel took my request on board. The first time, our room was right at the end of a long corridor - perfect as it meant no passing footfall.

“Breakfast was comical.”

Our breakfast experience was comical. I had prepaid for breakfast. It was a mistake. I got egg white wraps without cheese and meat. Our breakfast experience was comical. I had prepaid for breakfast. It was a mistake. I got egg white wraps without cheese and meat. The waiter came and discussed that my meal was not prepared to my specifications. And I would have to wait. In a few minutes, he showed up with the incorrect meal and asked me to remove the cheese and meat that was cooked in with the eggs. I told him I did not want it and just wanted my money back. He came back and told me that it was not possible to return the money and instead offered me other drinks or fruit. I could have argued but instead I took a cup of yogurt and fruit. They are not responsive to the customer. Our room had been refurbished. But no coffee maker or iron or body lotion. Also several free weights were missing from the exercise room. Apparently stolen sometime ago. My recommendation is not to prepay for breakfast. Instead you may he want to check out the restaurants very close to the hotel.
